@krevdog It's hard to say, we've only seen him fight two good wrestlers in the UFC. And only one of them actively went for takedowns, nearly beating him. A good wrestler with submission defense is the formula for beating Silva.

In the UFC he fought Henderson, who took him down in the first round and held him down the whole round, then tried to strike with him in the second and got rocked and choked out. And he fought Chael Sonnen, who took him down repeatedly and won 4 1/2 rounds til he submitted him off his back. He also was taken down at will by Travis Lutter, who is not a great wrestler, until he submitted him.

Silva is a better striker overall but only an ignoramus that can't tell the difference between a fighter and an artist would say Vitor's boxing is wild. It may look wild bcuz he uses flurries but in those flurries when there's an opening, Vitor finds it & his accuracy is dead on. Some of the punches are just to back the opponent up but when there's a clear target for Vitor, he barely ever misses like Silva but Vitor's hands are a lil faster

The amount of losses a fighter has has absolutely nothing to do with whether they are the pound for pound best fight in the world. By your logic, Rashad Evans is better than George St. Pierre and that Shogun and Lidell are equally as good as eachother as both lost 7 fights, despite Shogun knocking him out. Your record means nothing unless its filled with victories over top tear fighters, something Fedor can not claim over Silva.

true that. Vitor really has the best boxing in the UFC. Silva is a better striker overall but only an ignoramus that can't tell the difference between a fighter and an artist would say Vitor's boxing is wild. It may look wild bcuz he uses flurries but in those flurries when there's an opening, Vitor finds it & his accuracy is dead on. Some of the punches are just to back the opponent up but when there's a clear target for Vitor, he barely ever misses like Silva but Vitor's hands are a lil faster

I'm really not biased bcuz they're my 2 favorite fighter's basically & I just think the only person who can beat Silva besides Fedor or some other HW is Vitor bcuz of the way they like to fight on the feet. Vitor's gonna get hit in order to get to Silva but I know Vitor's chin is great & Silva's not invincible so it is possible. im not trying to start an argument cuz u have a good statement but if u listen to frank mir talk or another fighter talk about how much people ACTUALLY train u'd be surprised, people say they train 8 hrs a day and frank said sure u can be in the gym for 8 hours a day but actually conditioning lasts for less then 2 hrs a day because its too easy to over train and if there's 24 hours in a day thats a lot of time to learn english... but i see where your coming from

It's difficult to speak about feelings and technical details in fighting in a language you are not very familiar with. Last post fight speech was semi-english at least. :)

anderson can actually speak fluent english. he just chooses to do interviews in his own language, cause it's sometimes hard to find the words in your 2nd language

u havent spoken to him, every ufc fighter says he speaks fluent english he just chooses not to because he doesnt like the media and stuff so they wont bother him theyll just nag at ed soares instead, thats wat he gets paid for
