Idi Amin was a monster. However what differs him from the others is that he was a NAÏVE monster. He had two sides to him : the tyrant people feared and the Amin who ACTUALLY believed what he was doing to be just. Y'all should watch the interview "GENERAL IDI AMIN DADA" filmed by a french journalist. It's a bit more realistic than The Last King Of Scotland because there's no acting. Kinda like a one-on-one with the beast himself.

Idi Amin was a evil tyrant and responsible for 300.000 dead. But there exists no good evidence of him being a cannibal. That's just sensationalist claims made by western media in the 70's. Back then people generally thought africans were all cannibals so Amin being one made sense. Also no evidence exists of him having his wife sewn up the wrong way. You want to emphasize the importance of 'dictionary' definitions (meaning). But what you don't understand is that the definitions you find in dictionaries are not universal definitions. People created those definitions to signify certain things in a given context. Historical situations are what I mean by 'context'.

In world-economics, you, and many other 'western' people live nicely because corporations exploit the people in Africa - a possibility only available because of the instability caused by the turmoil of colonization. We in the western world keep Africa poor by being greedy - we live off their backs, not the other way around.

corporations exploit just about everybody. You can't claim that only Africans are the ones exploited. Practically all corporations are now searching for the lowest cost wages in the world. That is why practically everything is made in China. People are willing to work for slave labour wages just to survive.

He didn't even kill one of his wifes. She died by hemorrhaging from a botched abortions made by the same black doctor she had an affair with.
