The shit of it is, Lemieux probably had about 50 goals like that in his career - not necessarily dragging the defender the length of the ice, but still goals where you just shake your head and say "How the hell did he do that?" No disrespect to Gretzky or Booby Orr or anybody, but Mario Lemieux was the best player that the game will ever see.

Imagine the penalty announcement if he doesn't score..sort of...Nordiques penalty number 9 - a quintuple minor for hooking, and a double minor for holding. Sad the way the game was called or not called back then. The mere fact that some of Mario's greatest goals were due to the fact that he was being raped in the process...

No way that Gretzky should score, this video shows difference between them, if some accidentally touching him (Gretzky) so he gets humped to death by 2-5 of Edmonton, Los Angeles, St Louis or New York's goons and get 1-5 games ban by NHL.

But Lemieux could scores even if he gets constant slashed, hooked, punched, holding or whatever by 2-3 players, that's amazing!

@sexycooljulesverne Seriously. He got hooked about 5 times in the neutral zone alone. Most of Lemieux's greatest goals involve a lot of hooking, clutching and grabbing from completely helpless defenders.
