I have a problem with this mission. When you have to throw the potatoes the game glitches on the last target and wont let me progress any further. :( I know it's not my throwing because I've lobbed near enough a hundred grenades at it AND tried loading the save again and tryign the targets out in a different order. :( Anyone else got that problem? Can I get a patch or something for it?

I wish I had got this for the computer. I bought a copy for the XBOX360, then it froze, so I traded it in for a new one. I went through THREE COPIES AND THEY ALL DID THE SAME THING! I'm never buying that game again.

in the classic games they would be use'd to aid your character only a little bit but recently they've became the games resource to the point where if you don't have those all those fucking pro perks then you're just gonna die 1,000 times(not literally but hypothetically)until you do but if thats not enough then surly the guns and poor terain will drive any rusher or lightweight user to there knees!

i used to rock this shit all day in the zombie mod...best times of my video game life...i'd never get bored of this but now that i have a ps3 and call of duty black ops,mw2, and every other game i still think of this game and miss it...but now i can't re-download this game because my old discs are all scratched up

You can't download the game becuase of scratched discs?

As for the discs you should be able to whet your discs at some spot like Game, Gamestop or some other retailer who still actively sells discs as a physical medium.

Worst-case scenario: buy Call of Duty 2 on Steam during a sale. Unless the current 19,99€ feels okay to you.

call of duty 2 big red one, call of duty 2 the one in the video were the first call of duty games i played and they were great. call of duty 3 was pretty good some defaults but still good, call of duty 1 was pretty good game to start off a good series. but modern warfare killed it until world at war came out and i thought they were going back to the good old stuff until i saw mw2 which sucked but black ops was pretty good.

I played the original Call of Duty too much! For a few weeks, it didn't feel like evening until I had killed a few German soldiers.

Ahh, German soldiers, they're so predictable. They just step out from behind their cover or stick their heads up ... and blam!

I quickly figured out that it took two, three or even four shots to kill a German soldier, especially if he was far away. But if I could nail him with one shot to the head, he was not getting back up.

@JosephGoebbelz I know about the history of CoD, I know they worked on Medal of Honor, didn't got to use their ideas, and quitted EA and made Infinity ward, who made CoD in 2003, and CoD UO in 2004 was by Treyarch, which explains the vehicles, and I play that game! =D

Modern Warfare 2 in a nutshell:

Unbalanced weapons (see ACR, AK47), rewarding campers with bonuses, rewarding the crappy players with nonsense perks (painkiller...), billion delicious glitches (notice the old care packe-knife glitch that took forever to get rid of) and PC version is plagued with crappy networking performance, hackers and exploits due to the lack of anti-cheating measures.

As for campaign the story is mind-blowing moronic. Though the campaign itself is done well.
