kinda unrelated to the video, but what do you feed your hedgehog? he seems to be healthy and i've tried looking online, but everyone keeps contradicting each other saying cat food is out of the question while others swear cat food is better than hedge hog food. so i thought i'd ask you since max looks so cute and happy and healthy in this video :)

I know you asked from MadMaxMandic, but I feed to my hedgehog wheatless catfood, boiled fish (no raw fish!), low-fat minced meat, lactose-free cottage cheese & processed sour whole milk and carrot which is cut up into small pieces.

insects are the main food, and you can give your hedgehog crickets (living or dried), mealworms etc. - but don't give it anything that's from outside! There's always risk of parasites!

I breed mealworms and red runner cockroaches for my hedgie.

Foods you must not give to a hedgehog are: wheat, hazzelnut, raw fish, internal organs, insects from outdoors (there can be parasites), sausage, chips etc. or anything that contains salt, spices or lactose.
