  • @MegaTrancy the prefix "./" means to unix that you are referring to a file or folder. try just "configure" or "bash configure" or something to that effect. might help

  • I'm not really good with solving problems on ubuntu but just try making a new directory using the mkdir command, and have a look on the ubuntuforums for a thread :)

  • It said "bash: /home/jack/Desktop/cupid-0.0.2: is a directory"

    What can I do?

  • @ProManUnitedFan It means that the directory for that file already exists. meaning you should skip the moving step and continue

  • It says "Unable to find source package for filename". What should I do?

  • @ProManUnitedFan saddly dude, I've never had this problem.. However, I can point you in the direction of some awsome people in the ubuntu community.

if you've ever used IRC before be sure to check out either of these rooms: #ubuntu-uk and #ubuntu-cym all amazing people in there, check out ubuntuforums[dot]org too

I will have a google around as well and see if i can find a solution for you and pm you. JUST DONT GIVE UP :)
