  • this stage reminds me of jet stingray stage in x4 except theres ice instead of water and instead of chasing a subboss you are chasing jet stingray himself

  • 2D Elements of Gameplay are Good for Controls, Decent for Gameplay (stupid level design for me), 3d is horrible, i don't know why but when it turns into 3d it doesn't even play as Megaman game + sometimes perspective is fucked (you think you will land on the plane easily and then you fall to the pit >.>)

  • you've made my day buddy xD i laugh so hard, but yeah they we're trying to make game different to prevent the repetitive of the series, but the way they did this is so stupid and poor

  • In my honest opinion, it was actually a surprise capcom tried something new. Like X6, damn near everyone bitched about its repetitiveness as well as the "classic style was boring". X6 was just boring, but this one is at least original with SOME ideas...while most of the games ideas could've been dumped. I liked the game better than 6 and 7, but 5 will still be my best.

  • actually the only thing i didn't liked in X6 was difficulty and it was stupid that some areas needed specific armors, other than that X6 was great even though it was forced X game (you know without Inafune) , but i must say that later the X8 was very suprising and well it was a great game i finished it 7 times i think it was that good, also (that's for the others not for you NewZen41) stop thumbing me down for saying that X7 suck, if you don't agree it's your problem it's the worst in the series

  • I hear you Omega. I just hated having to scrounge around for the items in the game because trying to do so meaned instant death, but I liked X6 still. I play it when I want a "challenge", cuz I no longer have a PS2 and the two games on it, 7 and 8, but I still have the collection for the GC.

  • yeah those Megaman Collections on PS2/GC are awesome :D as for X6 it's not that bad, i can understand that people thinks that game is not that original but then again, Megaman after 3 we're just only newer games with stuff added and the same can go for any other Game Series with many sequels so i don't know what people sometimes expect, overall the only one that was bad for me was X7, others we're good

  • True that, true that. But the only other problem was that Zero was a little over powered, so killing things were kinda quick and boring, but I can't complain. X3 was also kinda boring in my honest opinion, plust the weapons kinda sucked...

  • And then after you do all that and find the new capsule, he gives you a shitty powerup, laughs at you, and leaves you to swear at him forever.

  • I've actually played this stage so many times, it's really no problem.

  • Y'know, barring one or two elements, this stage would probably make a good Gradius stage...

    We can only assume, therefore, that X and Zero would both make crap starfighter pilots.

  • They wouldn't last 1 minute against the Last Starfighter.

  • I hated this stage so much, it goes to show how unbalanced and at times unplayable this game is. Avalanche Yeti and Gigabolt Man-O-War are easily the worst designed. How did they design thse stages and think that these were okay? Or even good? Im no developer, but anyone with an ounce f common sense can tell this game has bad design.
