hey we have the same Squire Fender FLoyd series, i have here in philippine MIJ original with serial at the back of the neck and its color black. =] it sounds good so heavy

This guitar was made by Hoshino Gakki at the Fugijen factory in Japan. It is where the Ibanez Jems and Prestige models are made. I have a '91 RG550 and a '94 Squire Floyd Rose II reverse head strat from the same factory, I am never giving them up!!

Right, this guitar is not really so rare, I'm Brazilian and I have one of that guitar(I bought in Paraguay), I've never seen another guitar like this one in Brazil, I've changed the electric parts to EMG HZ, scalloped the last four frets, the results are awesome. is good to know that there are other guitars like mine. you guys have an excellent guitar. hugs !!!

The fender I have it´s probably made of alder according to my luthier, (it can be baswood if he´s mistaken)

@CTubeTV Most likely the neck will be made of maple and the body might be alder or basswood. Squier's are usually a lil smaller compared to the original Stratocasters and usually made of alder because of Fender's guitar specs.

This guitars are rare, there are very few of them around, mostly the Fender version, and lately they´re very demanded for collectors, their prices are raising high.... they´re great guitars in every aspect. Relic.

I have the same guitar but instead of Squier says Fender in the headstock!! but it´s exactly the same: white, H-S-H, reverse head, gotoh tuners, japan made.... I can´t find info anywhere.... these are great guitars!! I feel so lucky I found one.....

It looks almost exactly like the Dinky model Jackson. It probably plays like your Ibanez because of the pickup positions.

Try replacing the humbuckers with a set of Zakk Wylde 81/85 EMG's and replace the single-coil with a Dragonfire high output model pickup. Then you can get the best tone for just about all the music styles you'll want to play. And always remember to buy Ernie Ball Super Slinkey Strings in .09 - .42's.

You would be definitely wasting your money.

For 350 dollars, you can get a Laguna.

Similar to a mid-range Ibanez in tonal quality and playability, but not in syle, and the bridge isn't outstanding, but better for the money than that pos.
