  • this "duo"is stricingly similiar to a duo in my home town, berea ky.i love appalachian music and am happy that people like this are still around to play it, and teach it!

  • I grew up in the blueridge mountins in (nc) i will always look up to this kind of music.and these kind of people who plays it. music was not sorted out like it is now when i was lurning how to play guitar . (old stella) but i love it just the same.it 68 i am trying to lurn the peddle steel guitar ha ha .I will never forget my roots in (nc)mountans and people like youall .GOD BLESS JIM.

  • From England have to say the tradition that you pass on is much loved all over here too...did you know most your traditional music has roots in English folk.

    A Scottish fiddler called Ali Bain made a tv programme travelling all over America showing how it originated. See Transatlantic Sessions.

  • I think with traditional songs, the lyrics often change. There's no "right" way here.
