  • 4:52 the seat how u make it

  • 3:17 he begins with the back wheel nice!

  • do you have skype?? if you have skype add me alexandar.zivkovic2

    please

  • 8 ppl got owned by that tractor and they don't even drive it!

  • wow, i remember watching this video like 2 years ago when i started using sketchup. i used to think i would never be able to make something as complex as this, and here i am, watching the video again and understanding every single step he did :)

  • The workflow in Sketchup looks a little different than what I get used in 3ds max poly / sub-d modeling... push pull here a lot of time and 2D shape, profile for 3D geometry. But it's a speedup video, so it's impress viewer of course. Curious to see it realtime scale ratio :D

  • I'm sorry, I blinked. What happened?

  • Just like i do it..

  • Hello

Can you please tell me were i can find the slower version video

to see the all video because i do not understand in this video because ii so fast

Please i wanna learn how to create trators or cars for games

    PLEASE

    Thank you

  • @nokialex04 Dunnoh, put it into movie maker and do slo-mo or smthing

  • How did you make that smooth metal bar at 5:52? That would be very useful. :D

  • @PowerFusionX

He draws a line in the shape that he wants the bar to have. Then a circle at the end of that line, and use the follow me tool

  • how did you get that curved corner at :39 and :40?

  • You should mod for Farming games like Farming Simulator 2009, or SimTractor. That would ba a top of the line mod!

  • I wonder how bored Google gets over there. lol

  • hi

is it possible to convert google sketchup car models to 3d car model? i mean to open/edit with zmod or 3dmax?

  • im speechless.........

  • omg this is amazing i love tractors :)

  • que loco.....

  • how do you make the circle a face in 3:40?

  • exelente la tenes re clara!

  • is it easy to sketchup<<<<''

  • yup than autocad...

  • @lolomen123 Kinda. Once you get the hang of it.

  • this guy is a pro

  • how do you make a symetry 0:15

  • this is crazy xD

  • can you send me the file for that?

  • Comment removed

  • I couldn't do this if you gave me a decade.

  • Yeah! very good...you must upload full video to megaupload :)

How do you smooth edges in 5:04?

  • 65 min ? :) This will take me a month :D

    You are good!

    Thank you for the demonstration.

  • Omg, google sketchup nolife :P

  • some techniques are good, but others too much work!

For example when he is building the steering wheel he simply could put a torus primitive instead of build it starting form scratch!!

  • Nice ! I had never realized you can changer number of segments in a circle !! I've been using Sketchup for years.

  • Can you put a video in real time please?

  • crazy boi ur pro man i cant figure out lol

  • ur a freak!!!

  • I guess I really underestimated sketchup

  • how the hell can you fix the second part to do automatically the same as what you are changing to the first part???

please tell me, i'd like to know thx

  • if you haven't found out from the Google tutorial vids already, I think the answer has something to do with arrays, copies, grouping and/or components. one or more of those, anyway...

  • i allready maniched to find the answer, you just have to create a component and copy it

    thx anyway

  • hes god danm efficient thats how

  • that is incredible!!!

  • You've got a lot of spare time.

    Awesome

  • thats insane

  • wow cool i am gona try it .....i will probly screw up!!!

  • holy smokes! I wasn't aware sketchup was capable of these things. Might have to give it a whirl

  • tooo faaaaaaast

  • I tried to follow along but the video went way to fast for me to keep up. Love to see this video in normal motion.

  • just 1 hours loolz 5/5

  • nice job man

  • this is absolutely rediculous...

  • As you can see @ 3:54 the wheel was still a polygonal/geometric form.

  • Amazing!½

  • my dear lord.

  • OMFG ALL THAT IN ONE HOUR??!!

  • just want to know how did he copy & aligned in the minute 1:40- 1:47...if someone knows...pliz tell me...tnx!! :D

  • could u like do it slower... cannot learn easily

  • realy nice work!! my sketchup looks different, wich sketchup version is that?

  • I believe he's just got the full toolbar turned on, but since this is an official Sketchup video, it might be Pro.

  • How do you pull this shape at 3:54? The surface supporting this shape should be curved, right?

  • @ Tanynep, She or He had didn't have it at highest curvature detail, so it was possible to pull. You can lower the detail on curved edges. Lets say you made a ball, right click on it and select Soften/Smoothen edges. Drag the bar at ANYTHING lower than HIGHEST detail. Such wonderful software I must say, I hope that helped you :)

  • Thanks, I've tried that, but it doesn't work...

  • I don't know what could be wrong, we may have different versions.

  • I've tried a second time and it worked :)

Though I can't remember doing anything differently from the first time... Thanks again!

  • No problem, helping is what I do :)

  • OMG....|-0

  • wow

  • An explanation would be nice, rather than this eye candy

  • They have plenty of tutorials, I for one wouldn't want to sit through an hour long, probably more - with explanation, video of them making this.

  • a ja mislio da nesto znam uraditi na njemu

  • how did u do the part 4.11-4.12?

  • the account that made this is actualy represented by google, and obviously this is sped up, Us4U2C

  • U MUST HELP ME! U PWN!

  • super goed gedaan.

    veel oefenen is de boodschap.

ik ga het ook eens proberen.

  • your speed matches my attention span. impressive work! what program do you use to record the process? i just made a much more basic tutorial with stills for the process... i like your way better.

  • how do you do that copy thing

  • real nice

  • i got sketchup 6 is that sketchup 1?

  • its great job you^v done, ;-)I will appreciate if there was a little slower and a few explanation and color along.

  • wow men

  • nice, it show me that im not realy good, but dont help me to gain practice

  • SKETCHUP UNLIMITED!

  • Great work but, cause it was fast, and it wasn't a tutorial with words, I just didn't learn much. But still good work.

  • wow! thats awesome!

that must have taken a lot of practicing for working so good on sketchup

  • Very intricate! nice video! thanks.

  • WOW (but not really SLOW)...!

  • /me is jelous

  • i understand lot of things you do but it would be nice a little bit slow

  • Would it be possible for you to make an actual tutorial? I mean, so other people could learn how to use the techniques you use to make the tractor.

  • Malta tower for google sketchup

  • truly amazing, i will never say i m an experienced user again

  • mhmm

  • I wouldn't say good tutorial, coz almost everything goes too quickly.

  • A really great tutorial!!! Thanks a lot! I learned a bit from it. :-)

  • How do you do the mirror thing so when you change one side the other changes too? Sorry I'm a complete newb

  • Use the scale tool. You can effectively "squash" an object until it reverses direction. Watch in the lower right corner, the VCB box, when it says -1 you have a mirrored version. Remember, you probably want to copy the object first, you can't mirror and copy at the same time.

Also, there is a video specifically on mirroring objects in SketchUp on the SketchUpVideo channel. Have a look there to see it in action.

  • Very nice video. I'm familiar with all the techniques and tools used there but the real trick is knowing how and when to use them for maximum efficiency. When you know all the techniques you can plan ahead and make your work easier and faster.

Although someone could do this model without knowing all the tools and techniques, it's the difference between a one hour model, and a 4 hour model.

  • Wow, there were alot of advanced techniques used in that video. Teach me master.

  • impressive, pro - tip tho

ad music to your vid, something nice !

  • oups this model of tractor is not suspension

  • where is to engine ,suspension,cardanic axis.etc,etc
