  • Good job I like the build.

  • A look to the right side of the page reveals there are several 2WD bikes available. The technology is still young enough to expect that one day, it will become practical. I think Yamaha has a unit that only drive the front wheel if the rear slips.

  • camera guy either has a cold or is breathing through fat

  • pullt == pulley?

At about 30sec there is a pulley with a slack belt. At the end of the video the belt appears to be unattached and hanging next to the rear wheel

  • Fat bastards should NEVER use a video camera that close to their sloppy mouth hole.

  • use the Rokon set up with a drive shaft?......better than a chain to the front.

  • it's called a rokon. there much better.

  • damn can you breathe any louder

  • stop breathing!!!!

  • toooo big

  • i like rokons better... ive been riding them for three years and i wont stop any time soon

  • The guy is named Doug Mcateee and he ripped me off for 175$ when I ordered from his store. He even lied to Visa when they called him and gave them a false tracking number. Doug stole my money.

  • Is the back tire supposed to be on backwards?

  • Gimmiegimmiegimmiegimmiegimmielol

  • @xj650rj Bro, they are way expensive and this thing probably goes faster anyways.

  • he must be overweight, go run a mile or something.

  • @unimog875 The way he was breathing He runs a mile he dies

  • do you have any prob's with belt slippage when wet?

  • uh hu uh hu uh hu uh hu uh hu

  • sorry my mistake i ment to say "pully" whats the pully for in the back

  • that shitt will houl ass up mountins

  • skills man ur a pro now

  • one dum 2 wheel drive bike

  • didnt they make something very similar to this years ago that was slow as hell but would go anywhere, it was waterproof,it would float, and it had gas tanks built into the rims.

  • @p3kranger98 - Yes, it was a Rokon Trailbreaker

  • @dugbike yes they were the ugliest and slowest thing on earth but you could really go anywhere, you could actually be in a pond, hold ur bike up right, and float it across.

  • @p3kranger98 Yeah, it was called the Tote Goat.. the original of this type of 'bike',.. and would climb a tree if you cut of the limbs first! LOL And although this looks pretty cool to me.. I can't help but think that anywhere you would need the 2 wheel drive, you'd also need a decent suspension, which this doesn't have!

  • Wouldn't they chain in the front come lose when you turned and certain direction? also what is the pullt for in the back? really reallt great job on it.

  • The chain stays tight when u turn . One chain is connected to main frame and the other chain to front tire is connect to the forks. It can move because of the ujoint. Im not sure what your asking about when you say "pullt" . doug

  • @dugbike pulley, the cvt...

  • wouldn't it be easier to get a rokon?

  • @ironbuster Yes it would be, but thats the easy way out. It's way more fun to build your own bike. :)

  • I'd like to get that hog between my legs!

  • Hes getting too excited about the bike.

  • how do u tern

  • It's nice, great job! I would love to have something like this, of course there's always a ROKON I guess but more than I want to spend.

  • Wow breathy Mc Breathsallot. Mute you mic. :D

  • Looks nice! Does it drive?

  • Man, I gotta hand it to you. This is one one the coolest crazy ideas I've seen in a long time. I mean it doesn't even have to work. Just the thought is fantastic. Good luck with it

  • haha what a piece of shit

  • mad props for the effort!

  • just curiouse.... but why would you even want a 2 wheel drive bike ?

  • bad design!!!

  • This is so...35 or 40 years ago. Judging by the sound of this guy's breathing, he's either very excited about this bike, or his hobby ismaking obscene phone calls.

  • @butlerproman HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA obscene phone calls haha :D

  • too complecated

  • did you just get finished running somewhere? its horrible like when my little brother is sleeping. snore!! snore!!

  • dude its been done, a long time ago

  • Brilliant design

  • Where'd you source the universal joint from?

  • thats gotta sound terrible when you drive it. too many chains

  • awsome a 2x2 bike.

  • its a rokon design

  • listen to the dude breathing...wtf

  • ooo yeah lets hear your breathing and you moving around the vehicle why not drive it noob?

  • looks like lawsuit material

  • sounds like you are the sue happy type.

  • nope he just copied it right from rokons origional desgin.

  • Theres nothing copied from Rokon here rubby.

  • youve never seen the origional plans?

  • you dont know what your talking about.

  • no i never do.but as im looking at them right now i still know nothing.they used the exact same setup back int the 50's.but its still under patent soooooooooooooooooo

  • where is your head at dumbass.just put a 1500 watt electric hub motor on the front and back and use lifepo4 batteries. this is just a ridicues waste of machining.any one can build this with the correct tooling but why. it will be so heavy and shit at handling. i just do not see the point unles you are trying to proove somethiong to your self during a mid life crisis.

    excellent engineering though but why?????

  • Yah , how do those electric motors work when the bike tires are under water in a stream? Think much?

  • actually the electric motors work great underwater its the batteries that are the problem

  • is the guy haveing a heartattack or something he cant even breathe

  • With that design, you could never make room for suspension elements (without adding a tensioner, which would limit the power you could put through it).

Why not use something like a hub-mounted rotary engine, or hub-mounted electric motors? I think that is the future of awd bikes, as this was somethiing I had wondered about many times. Always thought of a design like this but its just not practical imo.

  • How do the whells behave during steering?

The front wheel will automatic turn faster then the back wheel.

Is it some kind of differential on it?

  • Yes , were putting a override bearing in the front jackshaft

  • OK , here we have an awesome machine with insite , planning and workmanship,, and I read all these negative comments ,most likely from dudes that need their girlfriends to help them change a flat tire, don't forget that the rokon was concidered a freak show at first also. Ah , now I feel better!!!

  • Thanks bud.

  • The Christini AWD system is superior

  • thats cuz its not home made dip shit

  • that is truely amazing

  • how did you rig the steering to work?

  • Nah man i want a skateboard that has 2 wheels that are powered by a 250cc motor. KICK ASS

    But this still looks cool.

  • Comment removed

  • just get a rokon

  • OMG thats amazing!! really good job dude =]

  • Thank you

  • dam u breatn hard

  • haha sounds like hes sleeping

  • is anyone familiar with the rokon?

  • rokons are awesome.

  • would have been cool to see drive

  • you can see it driving in the other video. Search DUG bike. Thanks

  • Ahhhh suspension anyone?

  • the guy who is filming that breathes realy loudly

  • hahahahahahha its creepy eh?

  • i agree its like hes really mad

  • rofl this is gonna be his weapon to kill his victims, what he didn't say is he's attatching a lawnmower to the front to shred everyone.

  • wat if u got ur hand stuck in frony chain

  • i'm pretty sure it's not the final version of the bike, it all is going to be covered. if not, then that's just not safe at all

  • Aesthetics could be a little better... lol

    And ROFL @ breathing.

Other than that.. pretty cool :)

  • dude stop breathing so hard!!!!

  • That is cool. I have never seen anything like that before. Is this a personal project or do you work for a company that is producing these ? Nice craftsmanship !!!

  • i thought honda made system that was 2 wheel drive????

  • too much stuff to go wrong.

  • For a two wheel drive motorcycle , its as about as simple and trouble free design that there is out there.

  • nice suspension..LOL..

  • 2keer 2 ??

  • i think you forgot that sometimes you need to steer

  • The bike steers excellent.

  • it can steer because they put the chain up right not along so wen you steer the chain goes with the wheel

  • Le caméraman respire vraiment fort!!

  • The back tire is mounted backwards. LMAO

  • Not when its in reverse.

  • HAHA! nice.... but.. then the front one would be rotating the wrong way ;)lol

  • dude clear your nose!

  • The Rokon has two engine one mounted on the fork and one in the frame. This design has just one engine in the middle of the frame.

  • Obviously you have no clue about Rokons. They do not have two engines. They have one. with a transfer case on the front fork.

  • o kwl i was wondrin how tht worked

  • isn't that a rokon?

    i might be wrong...

  • no fox , it is a DUG bike. Same idea as a Rokon , it for offroad use. thanks doug

  • oh, ok....

    thanks!

    5/5

  • So rokons aren't made for off-road use now??? Better tell the Darien Gap that.

  • este bicho no es 4x4 es 2x2 jejejjee

  • At first I thought it was fake, I thought the front U-joint jackshaft was attached to the fork. Now I see it is conntected to the neck of the frame. That is really slick!

  • Thank you. doug

  • how can you turn that thing around?

  • It may have already have been invented but I dont think anyone that is this good at building something is an idiot. Very inovative though.

  • the al wheel drive bike has already been invented idiot ktm made it

  • not really, or rather not at all what your thinking of is the chirstini, they will change any ktm to two wheel drive. the first awd bike was made along time ago whit hydraulic motors and recently they started to use a chain which is much better for little power is lost it the awd transfer

  • yeah it shaft drivin

  • wasn't rokon one of the first awd bikes if not the first

  • im not sure

  • cuz your chain has to has tension and when you turn a corner the chain with only let you turn one way and the other way you wont have grip on the chain

  • sorry you lose.

  • yeah, how exactly does this thing turn the front wheel? its a chain drive up to the front end so how in the world does the chain keep tension around corners?

  • WTFV

The front fork has a u-joint in it specifically for that.

  • good luck turning corners

  • Why do I need good luck?

  • yo how do u like that engine i has the same one for a go cart i got and it tops out at like 55 60 mph!! sweet bike

  • Thanks

  • looks really good for the woods. it looks like a 2 whell dreive atv basically, and it can probably tow a lot of weight. The only prob is that you got a helluv alotuv competition from christini, even thogh there bikes are more for racing and not all terrain

  • would like to build one myself, you did an awsome job.sent you an e-mail Please respond,Thankyou for your time.

  • I bet thats shit round corners

  • hey, could you tell me want size sprockets you use on your project, rear and front jackshaft assy and wheels(everything).

    thanks.............looks good

  • 60 tooth on front & back, 12 tooth on top .

  • holy fucking god damn shit... u need to fuckin chill on the breathing.. ur like a fucking pug dog loud as shit. and HELLA FUCKING ANNOYING.. fuckin chill

  • Sorry about the hard breathing. I just got done fucking your girlfriend. You should marry her , she's a good fuck.

  • ya well my girl friend is ur mom so u totally just fucked ur mom.. queer .. if i wanted a good cum back i would get it from ur mom.. and if i wanted some loud breating i would wiat for ur dad to stick it in ur ass

  • hah

  • i am speechless. you couldnt have been a bigger fag

  • hey, could you tell me want size sprockets you use on your project, rear and front jackshaft assy and wheels(everything).

    thanks.............looks good

  • wont the chain like snap off whe youre gunna turn the steering

  • no , one side is fixed to bike and one part is fixed to forks. Then there is a u joint in the middle allowing for the turning. doug

  • where is the suspension???

  • HA,I think it's cool. Not all of us can sit and bitch about how something is done .SOMEONE has to get up of their ass and try some thing new. What the fuck would you guys complain about if you didn't have someone elses WORK to pick on??

    .

  • dude i have a rokon trailbreaker 2x2 all wheel drive bike and i noticed that there is a long chain on the left side to drive the front miter box. mine runs off of a central drive shaft instead of a chain. is your bike an older model?

  • I wonder if a double cardan u joint would even work better for steering?

  • you should of edited your sweaty heavy breathing out you fat cunt..

  • That isnt me filming. I dont know how to edit it out. So anyways blow me you ass cunt face.

  • I like the christini's better :P

  • TRUE, lets see it fucking work jeeze

  • same to you, look to the related links..or look up DUG bike and you will see it working, asshole

  • this is a pointless vidio

  • look to the right and you get videos that work... and it's spelled video, genius
