I like very much Fado, a music that is inspired by the sound of the strings of a thousand broken guitars blown by the wind. The owners of the guitars were a thousand warrior troubadours dead in a lost battle.

I have always dreamt to see this idea applied to this aria of "Il trovatore", and now one of my favourite sopranos is part of this dream.

Thank you very much !!! For a long time this video wasn´t here on Youtube and i love this performance ! I´m glad to have it again. Frittoli was a noble Leonora, with soft and warm soprano and unmatched pianissimi. Great ! You have an idea where i can get the whole performance? Anyway- this is a fine present, thanks again :o))
