  • mean whip bra

  • @Xarmy187 Yea but I'm wanting something that roars I want people to hear me before they see me you but I'm wanting the V8 cause I think it's worth the buy you know this motors been put through hell the last two owners never took care of it I'm gonna post a video of it on here as soon as I can get the transmission fixed

  • @Xarmy187 Hey man I was just wondering if you had to work your car up from bottom to top to get it to where it is now I'm just looking for inspiration cause right now mines a 2000 ford mustang 3.8l V6 that idk if it's worth swapping the 3.8l V6 with a 5.0 V8 and the reason I say I'm looking for inspiration is cause everyone's dogging me cause my cars a little rough looking on the outside

  • @fordsrule4 I started out with simple bolt ons, gear swap, stuff like that. It took me almost a year to plan out and save up for the head/cam swap, but it was obviously worth it.

    I don't think its worth putting a 5.0 into a 2000 new edge mustang. I would find a foxbody or a SN95 that already has a 5.0 and 5 speed.

let them dog your car... fuck em. (put a M90 or M112 on the V6 )

  • Whats the lift on the cam? and did you have any problems with stock pistons? i'm planning on doing a similar set up on mine, except i'm going to put in a b303 cam

  • @MyersFan1and4 its a trickflow stage 2 cam and it barley cleared, but will clear with trickflow heads, will NOT clear with oem style inline valve heads.

  • Hey brother, Just as a heads up and given our common love for the same car, letting your motor reach operating temp before revving it saves your rings and cylinders. Pistons are almost egg shaped when they are cold, as they reach operating temperature the expand to fit the cylinder and you get less cylinder slap. I'm sure this being youtube and the internet is full of tools in sure this will get tons of flack but if you want your mustang to run without blow by for 150k let it reach 195 degrees

  • Love the sound of your mustang very nice, Girlfriend in first part Jesus christ.... sounds like the stang showed her a good time.

  • @HackoDis thanks man, check out my other videos, and subscribe.

  • have you got it retuned after the tf head and cam install? got a 93 cobra with gt40x heads, e303 cam and holley systemax upper and lower. nice stang by the way man! gotta love the foxbody's!

  • @ckollar23 yea, check out my new stuff man.

  • they dont buy junk one has a 650 demon carb and the other has a 750 quick fuel so even if they are small carbs there not starvin one of them does have 185cc heads with a victor jr. intake and the extrem energy cam and the other has 165s with a performer rpm intake both have msd ign. they looked in ford mags at what people was doin and tryied it for their self and it worked out for them

  • again man im not knockin your set up but no its not a magizine there are two people at work that are over 400 with that set up not tryin to argue just askin where the dyno shop you went to was we have one here but he only has chevy software so all he can do is dyno us ford guys

  • your car does run real good for whats done to it and a decent runnin car period this is my first fuel injected car so im just askin someone who has been threw it already there are no tunners around here so im kinda in a tight spot and the speed shop doin my block work is tryin to get me to go carburtered but i dont really want to so i need a little help on where to go have you ever heard anything about those self programers??

  • idk what your dur. and lift is on your cam but mine has alot of lift its a 232/240-565/574 they are makin more power than eneybody out there they made 421 hp and 378tq with the afr 165cc heads and that cam with a 650 carb and a 10:1 comp 302 im not sayin anything bad about your combo by no means im just sayin its not a mild kit so my next question is where did you get yours tuned at and how much was it if you dont mind me askin

  • @91boltons who is "they" do you mean a magazine?

a 302ci motor is not making 421hp with afr 165 heads and a 650 carb.

magazines inflate numbers to sell parts man.

I got it tuned by a local guy, and it was like $550

  • hey im building a 306 and goin with afr heads and comp cam did you have to get the car tuned when you only had the head cam combo

  • @91boltons with that head/cam you shouldn't need to tune the car.

I had to tune mine, but my stuff is a bit more aggressive.

  • Love the sound of old school cammed ohv american motor.

  • son my jetta would smoke you in a heartbeat!!! But i am a car guy and i will say it on YOU TUBE im sorry to call ur car gay. when mt VR6 jetta was all stock i beat a v8 mustangs but now with a nice turbo set up and all work u would not even stand a chance.. i owned mustangs before.. Slow and heavy cars for being a V8. Now i like new GT 500 Shelby SC.. but still its made in USA and means its CHEAP, DRIVETRAIN SUCKS ASS, CORNERING IN IT SUCKS ,,,,,,

  • @gtruhljo those turbo jettas are no joke, 16 second 1/4 miles like a BOSS

    lmao

    fuck off kid.

  • @Xarmy187 16 second??? LOL u have no idea what u talking about. I have a turbo VR6 now and thats a plenty for a BOSS let alone ur gay ass car dude. I owned 2001 Audi RS4 in a past and mercedes E55 AMG so ur a dumb redneck that never owned a decent car!!!!! U can sell ur shit somewhere else hillbilly!!!!

  • @gtruhljo your the one watching my videos bud. Doesn't change shit. Your still driving a VW.

  • @gtruhljo VW's are for teenage girls and hippies. Quit shakin your lil 2 inch peter in this pissin contest dude. All past, present and future comments you make on this, or any other page, were instantly voided the second you typed the word "jetta." To the OP, in the mind of all internet know it alls, whatever THEY drive will ALWAYS be better than what YOU drive, no matter the situation, so don't even bother.

  • @wisenthefools I cracked up as soon as I read about him shakin' dat 2 inch peter. Thats probably being a little generous.

  • fucking gay ass car!!!!!!

  • @gtruhljo lol @ you driving a jetta.... and calling MY car gay?

  • @gtruhljo if its a gay ass car why are you here watching his video...

  • @gtruhljo no, i doubt your almost stock jetta can beat a 400hp foxbody. Heavy? that foxbody weighs as much as a civic lol and just cuz its american means it sucks huh? my friend owned a wrx and blew his motor twice and his tranny once lol so he bought a mustang. By the way a new mustang can beat an m3 around a race track....yea AMERICA beats germany again....just like 1945 all over again haha

  • that thing is nuts, whats year?

  • @kdickenson456 Thanks! 1989

  • This thing sounds great !

  • yes. that's awesome. your gf awesome too. she's not screaming or begging you to slow down. she's a keeper dude. lol.

  • i am about to build my first "car" engine, it is going to be a 351c but i want to know will ALL parts such a heads and cam intake will fit on it just like the 302?...and i would like to know which H/C/I combo will have the best longivity because this wont be a track car, just a street "beast" i need the most reliable parts you suggest, even if it cost me some performance....thanks...."street performance!!!"haha...but out of curiosity, how much faster is the 351c vs 302c stock vs stock 1/4 mile?

  • @ROBBY639 351c's are VERY VERY expensive to build... well a proper 351c. The reason is because they have 4v head's if built right, and you shoot for VERY high RPM.

Your first motor, and for the street....... I would NOT build a 351c.

Rebuild the 302 to spec, put it back together, if you can find cheap aluminum heads, or even gt40 heads, go with those.

then put on a on3 performance turbo kit, at around 15lb's and it will run low 11's no problem, push it a little harder, and run 10's

  • @Xarmy187 ...what about a 351w?....and if i do the 302, you say gt40 heads are the best longtivity over edelbrock, trickflow?....i dont think i could do a turbo, i live in tx...it gets to 110 degrees sometimes in the summers, idk if that would affect the turbo or not?....and i cant afford one, nor do i have enough experience to put one on...i just want a street car that will be in the high 12's, low 13's...something where i wont be turning a wrench every time i go and drive it...

  • @ROBBY639 351w would be more expensive then a turbo on a 302 my friend.

gt40 heads because there cheap, and can be ported alot, but trickflow heads are MUCH better. Also there are NO longevity issues with aluminum heads if installed right.

  • @Xarmy187 thanks for the info....i will look into the trickflows, one more question....how much rwhp and torque did you put down with the H/C/I and bolt-ons?...

  • @ROBBY639 I have a video of that dyno. But it was 315rwhp and like 330trq with a "safe" tune and the motor hot.

with the new intake I think its around 330-340, it made a huge difference. Gained 4mph in he 1/4 mile but haven't have the car back on a dyno yet

  • i love your videos, subbed! i love that in cab set up ya got there. how much hp do you think you were pushing? all you did was heads/cam/intake? SD or MAF?

  • ha sounds like my wife when i hit the throttle ... jezzuss christ!!!!!!!!! enough

  • What is your exhaust setup? I have a 89 Fox with shorty equal lengths to an x pipe with 40 series flows dumped. It sounds great I love it but still curious what u have.

  • @1poolplaya bbk shorty headers, bbk offroad H pipe, MAC catback

  • your car sounds great man! I've always had a weak spot for the foxbodies :)

  • aint nuf road for a really good ride... too much traffic...I'd like to see this car safely wind to the end of 5th on a long straight away prob.3 miles all the way up & back- fantastic acceleration

  • YEAH...LOL!!! Pulls nice man...

  • pretty badass

  • i have a pro 5.0 but i want the hurst long handle

  • what shifter set up is that

  • @thechenz0 hurst shifter and bezel

  • I love the "jesus christ" comments from the girlfriend... lmao

  • hey what gears are you runing? 3.73 4.10s or what? and what cams and heads did you put on?

  • @mclovinloves 4.10's. trickflow 170cc heads and a trickflow stage 2 cam

  • @Xarmy187 is there anything eles done to it?

  • @mclovinloves there is a very long list of mods. If you look at my dyno video I think I have most outlined.

  • @Xarmy187 its been a while since ive looke at your videos, seems you have more views now congrats,do you have a new build?

  • @MIGHTYSAMINYOURFACE yea, views are up on some video's but in general they are down. Hopefully the supercharger generates more traffic for my channel.

    how are you?

  • NICE! Funny thing is, my dads stock 89 with straight pipes and cats sounds real similar. lol

I cant wait to do stuff like this with my Stang.

  • how are those heads and cam combo looking for some to use on my 85 ?

  • @xNibz12345 85's have different pistons, might not be able to run the stage 2 cam

  • @Xarmy187 the 86 are the ones that have no eyebrow refs but are there any other cam that are good besides tf and i dont want a ford letter cam

  • @xNibz12345 pretty sure 85's are flat top's too.

I recommend the trickflow cams. I have the stage two, and obviously the car runs great!

  • There was a reason the "Pony car era was named the Pony car era. Cars in that category included the Mustang, Camaro and the Challenger. Which of these three was actually a "pony"? which was a space shuttle and which was a make believe French lang term? Again, I say Hmmm...

(And I am aware that the Mustang was named after the fighter plane)

  • i just bought a lightly built '88 gt, and it will not grab 2nd like yours does.

it just spins, even when i come onto er in 2nd, the tires are 235's. why does your grab so good?

  • @juniorcarlover just tires my friend.

  • @Xarmy187 what do you have for tires?! i know i can grab a set of used hoosier 10 inch wide tires out here for 50 bucks, would they provide a lot more fun?

  • @juniorcarlover haha, yea, I've been thinking of buying the cheapest tires I can find, and shooting a video just destroying them.

  • Love your 5.0! I cant wait to buld another. Dont let youtube haters get to you man..... Clean up that interior and restore it to stock appearing...... makes it all the more cool to be fast looking stock inside IMO.....

  • nice video, I love videos where u get to watch people driving the cars. gives you a sort of feel for the vehicle, if you have an idea of what that kind of torque/hp feels like, even better. nice mustang, sounds mean!

  • Mine always did too. You can't beat the bore and stroke combination. I live on an Army post where kids are handed more money than they know what to do with. Soldiers come to my house asking me to make their Camaros perform like or sound like a Mustang constantly. I tell them the easiest way to do that is to sell that piece of crap and buy a Mustang.

  • @1489mustang hahah guys want to make their camaros run like mustangs!?!??! hahahaahahahahaah i know the first thing i wanted to do to my camaro is make it a lot slower... come on man really... lets be real here. I could understand sound cuz mustangs sound great but perform... really... I constantly have people coming up to me and asking how they can make their bugatti veyron run and sound like a honda...

  • @HellenKeller9 Ummm... ok buddy, ok. Go huff some more exhaust fumes. Its more like wanting to make a Barby car run like a jet. Lets throw reality out the window and get stupid.

  • @1489mustang They must not know alot about cars if they want their Camaro to be a mustang...I'd take a Camaro over a Mustang anyday, but thats just me

  • I love how the LS1 pugs like to make empty claims from their computer chair. Let's do the math... Have you ever heard the term "no replacement for displacement?" The Ford 302 defies that term. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a contest with that big boat anchor of a Chev...ugh, I can't even say it. The Ford 302 is a monster.

  • @1489mustang mine does great for the displacement. :)

  • @1489mustang shame the mustang fox's are so ugly...

  • @1489mustang and the chevy 302 will eat a shitass ford 302 alive you can get more power N/A from a chevy 302 then you can from a N/A ford 302. head work and cams can get you over 500bhp on a chevy 302.

  • @miamibitch305fl Well, from a physics standpoint and in a perfect world whatever you do to a Chevy 302 will yield the same power increase as a Ford 302. That is in a perfect world. My question is where is the Chevy 302 now? If it was such a spectacular engine why did they abandon it so quickly? Hmmm, I think I made my point pretty clear. And in case I failed to reach your lever of intelect how bout' I ask you if you've ever researched your history of the Crapmaro?

  • @1489mustang The Camaro is a far better car then the shitstang, or mustank. ive had history with both V8 models and Camaro were better quality and more power. also more attention too. mustanks are too common to be a head turning car. i now have an LT1 great car!! and the chevy 302 was made specializing in 69 Z28 cars. now we have 350ci which has more torque & power. Ford 302 & chevy 350 and the battle of the bottom. now you wanna keep talking about cars i have all day :)

  • @miamibitch305fl Bro, all you're bringing to the table is your opinions, not a very strong argument. Didn't Chevy quit making the Crapmaro for a few years? Didn't Pontiac cease to exist? Didn't the Challenger cease for a long time? Didn't Chevy halt production of the Corvette in 83'? But Ford has consistently put out a Mustang every year since April 17, 1964. Your weak argument claiming the Mustang is too common to be a head turner has no validity to it.

  • @miamibitch305fl If it were true we wouldn't have all Ford shows and all Mustang competitions selling out every show. there is a reason why the masses choose Ford over Chevy and it isn't because they're cheaper. Lets have some facts buddy. Until then, you're wasting my time.

  • @1489mustang Its not about selling out shows buddy. its about reliability and performance. Chevy has there shit on point when we talk about the LSX engines. heck i know some people that ditch there modular engines in there mustangs and go with LSX. its easier to make more power and you have the extra strength in the parts..

  • @1489mustang well put sir

  • Sounds great

  • nice lil setup you got. 1/4 mile times?

  • You were granny shift-oh wait i suck at driving a standard......

  • Comment removed

  • @hardtruck Yea I've thought of doing that. Also going to make a special edition of "passenger reactiong: 150 shot of nitrous" hahahaha

  • @hardtruck Yea I've thought of doing that. Also going to make a special edition of "passenger reactiong: 150 shot of nitrous" hahahaha

  • @hardtruck Yea I've thought of doing that. Also going to make a special edition of "passenger reactiong: 150 shot of nitrous" hahahaha

  • let me guess you have deep gears in the 5. slow?

  • @Xarmy187 your car sounds beautiful man

  • i think the wheel popped at 6:02

  • @0AkBrOoK what?

suspension is just very tight, so it makes for a rough ride over bumps.

  • is this car a daily driver realiable car???

  • @ROBBY639 meh, it COULD be. maybe not with the "cheap" roller rockers I have. you would have to adjust them.

but I've drove it the last 700 miles with no adjustments since I put the rebuilt motor in it.

cheap/fast/reliable you can only pick 2 my friend.

  • @xarmy187 is this the 360hp topend kit? or just the heads and cam? what manifold you running?

  • @goodride2004 trickflow twisted wedge heads, slightly ported, trickflow stage 2 cam, and a victor intake (in this video the car had a typhoon intake)

  • @Xarmy187 thanx for gettin back to me, i have a simular build in mind but im going to run AFR 185's and a comp cam maybe not sure yet, sounds great and pulls hard bro!

  • @goodride2004 go with trickflow heads. they are much better over all, and have lot's of "growing room" for porting.

  • @Xarmy187 thanks for the input bro, i thought AFR's were king shit but i guess not lol.

  • I'll smoke u if I seen that on the highway.. I don't see no top end

  • Hey I got a question can some one answer how much hp can you get from adding a cam

  • sweet 5.0 man my dad built a replica of a 66 cobra and put a 93 mustang motor in it he makes about 350 hp out of it. we have out run my friends 08 gt500 that has over 600 hp

  • did you build your bottom end at all? if so what route did you go?

  • @kyleisadork12343 stock bottom end. with piston rings gapped for nitrous.

  • Ha i love the way your Stang sounds. Mine has bbk shorties and H-pipe as well.

  • it was converted to a manual tranny?

  • @kanekumar94 yes. When I bought it, it had a TIRED AOD trans, and 2.73 gears

  • @Xarmy187 what tranny you got now? stock t5? aftermarket t5? what has been done to the drivetrain? suspension?

  • sweet setup man!! im building a similar engine with a 351 base and an E303 to drop in my pickup. any recomendations for ignition or fuel system?

  • @farmboi78 stock ignition works awesome other then with nitrous, superchargers, or turbos.

fuel system, im not sure if you can use the trucks fuel system or not, if so it will make it easier, but you will probably have to run all new lines. If it was me, I would buy enough rubber line rated to run fuel to run from the back of teh truck, and back for a return line, so probably atleast 25' worth of line. you will have to route up a mock line and measure it out I would think.

  • @Xarmy187 nice man, she sounds like damn hell :D...

i have a 2000 volkswagen beetle, here in mexico its a v8 killer, i hope someday i can find a car with real balls like yours and try to beat it up :)...

nice work and good luck :)

  • whats yr exact exaust set up on this car? it sounds amazing

  • @bmwall67 bbk shorty headers, bbk offroad H pipe, MAC catback.

  • @Xarmy187 that car sounds amazing

  • Nice Amish beard Jedidiah, or is that a chinstrap? Car sounds good even though the interior looks like a trailer park after being hit by a tornado.

  • @Krashdavus if you where trying to be clever it didn't really work.

    look at the newer videos.

  • @Krashdavus i thought it was JEBidiah

  • i have a passion for fox's only. i really dont like mustangs, its just these fox lx's. but wow your funny as hell. i been wanting to build this same setup, now i see your videos and its only more inspiration. keep up the good work. subscribed always thumbs up

  • @xLarry311ss its extremely appreciated man!

  • u probaly use ur whole paycheck towards gas hahahahaha....how much does cam and headers cost with labor work.....tune also???

  • I miss my Mustang..

  • the car sounds good but you need to fix the interior

  • Xarmy187 what happened to the back of your head someone get you with the buzzer jackass style??

  • @tjclt250r scars.

  • Hilarious shit dude. Nice car. Sounds great.

  • This has me ready to sell both my cars and get a Fox Body. How much does it cost to get some decent power out of the old 5.0? I'm at 263whp/245tq in my fwd car. not quite as enjoyable, though the handling is spot-on.

  • @americansmark Mustangs don't handle as bad as people think with a few little things done. Foxbodys are about as cheap as it gets to build.

with a simple head/cam swap, I went fro 230rwhp and 270trq with the stock heads and cam, to 321rwhp, and 328rwtrq. the car now makes a bit more power with the new intake manifold.

plus with FWD your not going to hook much. even a stock head/cam foxbody would walk your car, because RWD.

  • @Xarmy187 I actually have no problems hooking up at all, but the suspension is decent.

I wouldn't mind getting a Fox. Anything to look for when buying one? Stickshift of course. ;)

  • @Xarmy187 I actually have no problems hooking up at all, but the suspension is decent.

I wouldn't mind getting a Fox. Anything to look for when buying one? Stickshift of course. ;)

  • @americansmark well just like any other older car, just cover your bases. Also look for spotty work, and wiring. 1989 was the best year with the best features. 83-85 where the lightest, but made crap for power, and are carb'd.

  • @Xarmy187 Thanks. I'm actually considering buying one. I got to ride in a friend's Terminator with a 2.3L Whipple a few weeks back. I'd to have even a third of what he has on tap (630+). His license plate is Z06HNTR. :D

  • what year mustang is that and what other upgrades do you have? im getting my first car and its going to be anywere from a 87-93 fox 5.0

  • whats ur exhaust setup?

  • You gotta love givin ya ol lady hell when you own a toy like that..lol!! Reminds me alot of my supercharged 03'...She had 390 to the rear.. Its a gut wrinchin, neck jerkin kick in da ass..!!! bad ass vids cuz..enjoy watchin em...

  • that exhaust sound is ADDICTING!! haha nice car man. 5.0 rocks!!

  • What do you have for an exhaust? it sounds good.

  • Rated and subscribed! The sound is absolutely visceral from the inside and I bet sounds just as menacing on the outside of the car. Love it, hope to see some more videos from ya man!

  • @tyreeztt much appreciated! Check out my other stuff :)

  • @Xarmy187 hey bro what's all done to

    Ur car ? Sick vid

  • u needs to tell your woman to quit using gods name in vain

  • Where did you get your cluster/kit?

  • @Thrash3rSkateRock idk, came with the car. They sell white faced gauges though

  • @Xarmy187 cool car man make more of these vids

  • @Samimiamiv1 thanks man! keep watching and I will!

  • Hey man, is that the Hurst Shift Kit? If so how do you like it?

  • @MdPoRtE3191 It's a hurst handle and knob. the shifter is from tri-ax

  • i want a foxbody!

  • How is that camera mounted?

  • @MorganMcCann magic! haha. Its my own little set up, nothing special

  • @Xarmy187 Video of it? lol

  • @MorganMcCann haha, honestly its nothing special. you can get a suction cup for a radar detector and it will look like the same thing im doing.

  • @Xarmy187 Sounds good. Thanks.

  • Good man, shade the interior from the sun!

  • This guy is a tool. Talks to the bitch like she knows what's going on.

  • @omanuder If you don't think that there are women out there that know cars then you're just plain stupid.

  • @crazyfvck No, that woman in particular. Please excuse me for not being more clear.

  • can't wait , till mine starts pulling like that ;)

  • @jimmsser haha, just takes time and money. check out my other stuff

  • how is the gas mileage with the trick flow stage 2's when you are driving "normal"?

  • @BeastGT87 I've only checked the mileage once to be honest, and it was 18mpg, which was pretty normal/high with the stock head/cam.

in theory the car should get better gas mileage, as the motor is more efficient. but I would think the cam would kill gas mileage at idle, because it does let gas escape into the exhaust due to overlap.

  • Okay u say u were running a tfs2. Where are you getting all this low end from?? I have a similar cam but i have no low end but suddenly pulls at mid/upper rpms. Around 2k. 3.73's and ported/polished 289 c5ae heads to compensate with a 75mm tb. I have lth's but havent installed them yet. What kind of intake were you running? Thinking about getting a track heat.

  • @ChurchBoy0487 Making power is more about a combination of parts, not just good parts, ya know?

I had a typhoon intake in this video, also shorty headers. your heads might be hurting you, as I have slightly ported trickflow twisted wedge heads.

  • @Xarmy187 I gave away my typhoon and switched to a victor 5.0. Works MUCH better with ported TW's.

  • @powerviking the victor loose to much of low end power and the victor is made for 7k rpm (stock a9l cpu cut at 6250).... i think the performer rpm 2 was one of the best choice for his set up.

  • @The44445544 lol, the sheep just keep coming in. what proof do you have? I still make the same "low down" power as I did with my old intake, but way more top end.

you have to start thinking outside the box, times have changed.

  • the proof.... more your intake is made for higher rpm more you loose low end power...its a fact...check your pm i send you a link :)

  • @The44445544 The loss of "low-end" with a victor is exaggerated. The most important thing is putting it on the right engine... I'm running 11:1 domed pistons with ported TW's and it makes more than enough torque. It might be a little lazy with 9.0:1 factory pistons but it will still pull like crazy over 4000rpm and has plenty of room to feed more RPM/compression/displacement/etc...
