I'm still running Mandrake 10, I want Mandriva running on a VM but there's a major headache when VMware tools asks for the header files, I've tried all the popular locations and made sure the kernel source was installed as well......I've no idea!

you need MagicISO so you can mount / burn the files on a cd.. free magicISO has a limit of 300MB

but the ISO recorder doesnt have any limitations , but you can only burn iso files on a CD (not DVD), if you want to download it google it

You don't need to extract anything. Just burn the ISO you downloaded on a CD and boot the CD. You'll get Mandriva Linux running and then you can choose "Live Install" icon from the desktop.

Beryl? Compiz, Metisse? SUSE? RedHat? Mandriva Ubuntu?? THEY ALL RULE!! Can't go wrong with any of them so why argue? Save your arguments for Winblows and Microshaft products.

I can chosse use metisse and not compiz beryl because metisse doesnt need a graphic card

Please, let's not start a holy war between the various software proponents.
Each software has its own set of feature, not available in the other one. There is no point in trying to shoot down metisse in favor of beryl or compiz (and the other way around too).
