alright, i saw some of your ezcap vids and they look fine in the small player, but when I go full screen, It gets a little blurry. Isnt there something on handbreak that can fix that?

@CodBrownieLov3r so virtualdub you dont get audio. hm... just go to audio in the menu and select usb capture or w/e you are using to capture the audio if its your microphone input select that. and then you will get audio recording. if you want to hear the audio while playing select enable audio playback.

i did everything on amcap and all i get is video. on virtualdub i get audio please help!

@TheShotsboy123 yeah it should :) there is really no difference in the Ezcaps except drivers. If you haven't bought one then i recommend you do some research to make sure it is compatible with your computer.

@madgreenb VirtualDub is sometimes crazy and doesn't want to save your settings. Thats why I think the new virtualdub fixed this, but im not totally sure.

@TheZombieBrigade lolz run a virus scan on it through virustotal or something. U can download components seperately if u wanna google them.

when i put it in movie maker it says the testhd.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

@andrewdoneden no you can't because movie maker compresses the video and then it loses too much quality.

@beebleppa Ok well yes it will work with vista, BUT only with the 32 bit OS. If you want to get a cheap capture card then go with the dazzle DVC 100 its like $30 and it pretty much guaranteed to work with the same quality as the easycap. i'll be posting a tutorial for the dazzle if you need it.

Nevermind, I ended up having to take apart my easycap and resolder a differnt s-video cable onto the damn thing. It looks ghetto as hell no, but hey it works!!

Im using the dc60 is this what you have? I get terrible static, and bad quality with composite. On the dc60 does the s-video make a big difference?

@garretts228 yeah with composite it looks fuzzy and not crystal clear. In s-video you get my quality.

i dont have the gaming presets, the bit where you have the youtube HD under, i dont have that whole preset of gaming, please help, i try updating filters but it says they are updated.

@DjCrank95 let me get this straight.... Your trying to record off Amcap or Virtualdub? if you record with AmCap then that is the problem unfortunately AmCap is not a very good recorder. If your using Virtualdub please tell me because i think it may be due to incorrect filters.

@TAKHAR5000 go to the audio tab and instead of ac3 try aac. if its at aac then try ac3 if you have mp3 as an option try that. I think thats the problem.

@TAKHAR5000 rofl when you type in the name of where your gonna save it click the Youtube HD it should change it from mp4 to .avi if it doesnt do it yourself. It should also check the boxes at the bottom saying decomb or something like that.

i got k-lite first and tried it

uninstalled then got shark didnt work

tries it with both and it still didnt work

@EnternalFlame13 What does the error say? if it goes to fast try to do print screen at the exact time to get the error.

@EnternalFlame13 are you clicking Youtube HD for the encoding in handbrake? try downloading a codec pack from any site you can usually search Google and it will be the first or second result that you will be able to use it should come up with either shark007 or k-lite codec packs either of those will work. shark007 the thing i use the most but you can use k-lite :) if this works please post so that i can add a link in the description to the codec pack.
