The scene where she let's the bird fly away, may not have been a truly great scene, but the music made it give me goosebumps. They don't make great movie's like this anymore.

I really love this film and don't understand why so many people hate it. Yes, I missed Daniel/Ralph but it gave a good feminine side to the story and Hilary Swank was brilliant. Pat Morita was impressive as always. The whole storyline was interesting. I still think that they should have made The Karate Kid 5 with Pat Morita, Hilary Swank and Ralph Macchio. It would be great.

Just think, years later, she'll be in a tv series, getting better movie roles, work with top-rated actors & directors, become an A-list actress & win oscars.

Her Karate SUCKS!!! She was better in Million Dollar Baby with Clint Eastwood.
