Bloody brilliant. Absolute skill. I've been riding for years and in all honesty would struggle like made with this course. Well done!!! That should be included in an advanced course. Plus make all car drivers pass it first. ;)
@gotobedandtickler : wow, then I wanna see you doing this without breaking ya neck... solid concrete... they're not supposed to destroy neither them or the bike...
not long done my cbt and thank god it wasn't like that lol......thats skill, ive watched loads of how to vids and i know my cornering could be better any tips a few times ive nearly been on wrong side of the road.......useful tips pls not wise cracks from people thats never been on a bike.
NIce....! I was searching about what makes a perfect cornering. Do you think eye-line is important? Meaning, should i look ahead to the next obstacle and commit to memory the action to be taken.... meaning, i DONT look at the obstacle i'm crossing?
first of all.. thats not me ....but...i do ride and have always found that you go exactly where ya look, but i think that the best way to improve and enjoy cornering in a short time is to master the art of countersteering, this is where just prior to your corner you actually steer the opposite direction for a split second(this instantly lays the bike over ready for the perfect corner),......then take your corner, you will notice a much smoother longer corner than before.hope this helps
Thanks for the input! I've been waiting for my bureaucratic road test to arrive for 1.5 months and in the meantime have been having fun in the circuit courses. The figure-8 is the most challenging to get it right while going fast and low.
OH YEAH! on first try! Bought a second-hand Honda Underbone after that considering i ain't earning a decent salary....yet. Besides, my license only allows me to ride a bike up miserable 200cc with a one year probation before i can upgrade the license.
But recently i rode .... and dropped a friend's 650cc scrambler when trying to do a sharp turn. The weight took my by surprise..absolutely no way to recover once the bike tipped over. Fortunately no harm done on his bike but only to my arms...phew!
Speaking of that, i learnt when cornering out of the highway at high speed... i gotta really lean the bike to match the curve of the exit road. For one, it takes some guts to trust the bike's traction.
It helps if the bike is new and well-maintained... but not with this second-hand 5yr spoked bike that cost cheaper than a mountain bike.
cornering is all about looking. best way to get it into heads is act like your an owl, body moves but head stays straight. well, get your head looking where you want to go and get your bike to point where your looking. keep your head up to improve balance too.
countersteering is great for the big bikes, but on a 125 you dont need it, as thier so light. counter balance on the small bikes is more important.
WOW! That's what I call "SKILLS"!!! Extremely narrow cornering, that's a good idea! Looks like big fun! Hm, looks like I know what I'll be doing this summer. :) LOL!
Hahaa this should be there new cbt course to stop little 16 year old maggots chasing each other around on the 49cc scooters
ps: great skills my little friend but now try it on a police issue bike or maybe even a goldwing haha!

Pretty easy, the cones don't move, try moving the cones in any direction at 20mph then see how it is done.
Another idea is to make the cones out of solid concrete and fasten them to the road surface, this would make it more fun. pmsl.

let off the power coming into the corners then put the power back on when you are roughly half way through the corner :)
