Sasha was sent to the 55 to investigate corruption allegations. Her intent was to find out what was going on and either make an arrest or move on to her next assignment.

Or if police relations with IAB are really like that? I've been wondering that since I started watching shows like Law and Order and this on for examples.

I am not in law enforcement but my x was and a family member is. They would not put someone that was internal affairs back in with regular officers from what I saw at a Florida Department. They transferred to another city. All kinds of jobs create sensitivity to loyalty some can cost someone their life.

Police relations with internal bureaus is definitley not like this. There's still that comradery between the officers and those who work internally. And the chances of there being a "rat" or "spy" infiltrating the department are slim to none. IAB doesn't just investigate dirty cops...they also work cases like police related vehicle accidents, shootings and suspicious deaths. But no...frontline cops don't hate IAB at all...only in hollywood to make it more entertaining.

If you listen to the NYOD SOD (Special Operations Division) frequency, you hear every unconfirmed & confirmed 10-13 announced. It's then up to each ESU Truck, Adam, and Boy car to decide whether or not to respond. But a Confirmed 10-13 will almost always result in an ESU response
