Good music is still out there, it's just not on t.v./radio. you got to hunt it down and find it in some grungy corner of the earth. Everything has to be formatted now, and half the crap they are shoveling on MTV isn't organic. It all sounds like commecials to me. I guess the revolution isn't supposed to be televised. All I can say is: There is good music being made. Its not being promoted very well..but its being made. I play music professionallly and and can tell you, if you look hard enough you will find good music. fwiw: I recommend Butch Walker. Listen to any of his stuff....each CD is really different, and they are all good in their own way. The last one he did ("I liked it better when you had no heart") is really fantastic,in my humble opinion.
