chaotic crossbow is great but the only thing thats wrong with it is its VERY LOW alch price and that means u cant even high risk pk with it like in karils etc... unless you wanna waste 200k tokens then... thats up to you....

A few questions usefull for other Rangers like me:

-How long did it take you to get the chaotic crossbow?

-Is it true that if you die with the chaotic crossbow, the player who wins get 40k cash and you will still get the bow back. (dangerous wildy servers)

-What is the bow's max hit?

-Are there anny special attacks?

@PureiOwnage 1. Chaotic cross bow will take atleast a month from 1-80 dungeoneering. 2. The other player gets around 100k if you lose the cbow! If you keep it on death he will get nothing.  3.The max hit is the same as rune cross bow, the accuracy is different that is it. 4. No there arent any special attacks just like any other choatic weapon.

I'm trying to decide which Chaotic weapon to get, I almost have enough points and I do lots of Slayer (I have 99) I'm maxed in everything besides prayer or else I would be level 138 combat (I'm 136) and I have 99 summoning. I think Rapier sounds like the best choice but someone please give me a few tips. (I also have 99 range)

@JayTheJaymez Rapier is by far the best for slayer and is proven to have the best damage/min ratio. CLS is best for bosses and such, while maul is best for pking. Chaotic crossbow is good as well but not nearly as beneficial as a rapier.

@MaroonDotz Only thing I'm thinking about is that Rapier is nearly the same as whip... I do Castle Wars and Clan wars a lot because it's fun with Steel titan... And the maul is the best weapon so... Would a whip be good for killing frost dragons? I don't think it would make a huge difference.. Plus I'm maxed so I can't imagine it would..

@JayTheJaymez Well you have to remember that dragons are weak to stab attacks, and the rapier has +94 stab and +101 strength, while the whip has only +82 slash and +82 strength. So in my opinion the two are very different. +19 strength is a very large difference that will make killing frosts much easier. Not to mention the stab rather than slash style.

@JayTheJaymez Well once you are 80+ dungeoneering already, you can expect xp/h rates of anything from 60k-140k xp an hour, depending on your team. So thats potentially about 14k tokens an hour tops so you can figure anywhere from 14 to 33 hours. I don't really time my xp/h rates though, but I estimate it is near those values though.

The chaotic Crossbow should either give like +15 ranged Str, or be a little bit faster. I know it is 33% more accurate according to Wiki, but that won't make me get one. Maybe if i bothered doing Dung on my pure, But I'll stay with CR and CLS on my main.
