  • 無重力状態だからコーラがゼラチン質に見えるw

  • you did it wrong

  • I wonder why we dont have zero g rooms like in dead space...

  • wood head? ok then....

  • Stupid I like it

  • Carnival of the animals music

  • Pluck this experiment with all of my passion , wastin money on dumb shet . If you know other wise please let me know break my ignorance .

  • Scary music

  • Rayman 2 music

  • Which music is this in the beginning?

Where do I know it from?

  • @spetto23 I'm pretty sure it's from harry potter? X)

  • they should have made a big floating bubble of coke in zero gravity then put a mento in it. i wonder what would happen

  • We were limited in what we could do because of space requirements (heh heh), and because a big bubble might mess up the cabin.

I hope to someday do experiments with big water globes.

  • Fascinating. Have always wanted to go in a zero-g plane but would need at least 5 goes because it is rumoured that everyone throws up on their first couple of drops supposedly without exception. 'no exception' seems a little absolute for me, i guarantee there are some people who just did it and were like 'that was fine, dunno what you guys were talking about...'

  • The GoZeroG folks have vomit-prevention down to a science. They only do 15 cycles (most upchucking happens after 30 or 40), and the first 3 are mars/lunar to get you into it. You are told how to take the high-G parts to avoid motion sickness, and you take anti-seasick meds.

The only guy who got a little queasy (no upchucking) on our flight did so on the flight back to the airport, not during the ballistic segments.

The rumor is therefore total garbage. Go take a flight, you'll have a blast.

  • Wow! Myth busted! Hell, I see nothing stopping me now!

    Thanks ^_^

  • the aquarium

  • WHAT HAPPENED? DID I MISS SOMETHNG?

  • Holy f****** sh** its a dinosaur!

  • can kitty haz it?

  • 音楽がさらにむなしくさせるな

  • jealous, i've done that in russia, its' friggin' amazing...

  • fucking stupid!!

  • Waste of money...

  • "some serious sacrificies"... And some ridiculous ones too...

How much money is spent on this? u¬¬

  • and why do you care if none of it was yours?

  • It was mine...

  • That is the same thing people said about the first electric company. Who knew that the taxes from the people 100 years ago would help with a mass global lift in technology. So, you never know...

  • What song is that being played? I love it, and have heard it in movies. Please share!

  • haha that is pretty much the funniest zero gravity experiment idea i've seen:P

  • es una terrible verga

  • You ought to get together with Mike Harrison of White Wing Logic in England; he has a modified Kodak Ektapro 1000TR system which has been successfully tested at 2000fps; it's black and white, but it would work quite well for what you are doing.

  • this video had the potential to be so awesome.

but then you go and ruin it... such a pity.

  • What if you used a balloon filled with coke then when you enter zero-g you can burst the balloon and thrust the mento straw into it. Has anyone else tried this that you know of? I'd been dreaming of doing this and googling it for ages and finally found it! Cant wait to see what happens in the sphere!

  • The problem with this approach (as I recently documented on the blog) is that rubber balloons contain huge numbers of nucleation sites. All the C02 comes out of solution when you try and fill them. I'd have to fill them, then add C02 and repressurize them. Complicated...

  • Hmm. What if you'd created your sphere of coke before the mento was introduced? Instead of introducing the liquid onto the mento and starting an instant reaction, allow the sphere to form using another hydrophilic surface to control the spheres position and later introducing the candy. Just a thought. Great video, I'd love to be able to take a ride on the vomit comet someday!

  • This is the approach I am currently working on, but there are issues with both deployment and stabilization of the sphere of soda, not to mention we have to be careful not to mess up the nice, clean airplane.

  • the experiment only costed you a few grand.

  • 5k per seat!

    but man, id pay it...

not for this, just to float.

    :)

  • please someone, what is the music in this video from??? It's driving me CRAZY

  • If you take the time to read all the comments, you'll see that your question has already been answered.

  • was it really worth the effort of writing that comment instead of simply saying the name again?

  • Man... this music is hypnotizing...

  • Well...

How can I put this adequately?

I couldn't envy this idea more.

Hope your next device works better!

  • "At this point your probably thinking, 'Gee, I'd like to go on one of these flights and do some serious science like theses guys!'"

    .....

    This is considered serious?

  • you should go outside more often, you've forgotten how to recognize a joke

  • what a waste of resources

  • You can't just spray coke on the mento, retards.

  • lol yeah. WTF

  • Geeks

  • hydrophilic? try surface tension.

  • Surface tension keeps the shape in tact, but when he moves the blue stick around, and the main blob moves with it and doesn't break free, it's due to hydrophilicity.

  • wow looks like all money that was put to good use.and imagine people are still dying of hunger in the world.

  • i agreed is really amazing!

  • I know you have to make a lot of sacrifices for these videos so if you ever need a laboratory assistant to do the "grunt work" on board the G-Force One I will be glad to assist :)

  • P.S. just kidding you guys. This was a great video.

  • megaverse: I totaly agree! This is just like Disneyland. There are people starving in Africa, but people can still ride rollecoasters in Disneyland with good consience. What the f***k is their problem? People should not have fun when there is awful things happening in the world!!! It's like: "Excuse me sir, but could you donate money for starving childs in Africa?" "No I could not, because I'm gonna use that money to ride a rollecoaster.". What the f***k?

  • You are right. Let's all quite our jobs, especially those at work at entertainment places and take of those in Afica and fix things. You must be one dull person to be around. Please stay away from all those starving people in Africa. They would not die of starvation but boardom.

  • sad now lol, that music made me kinda depressed

  • amen

  • megaverse. With that attitude, you should have gone and done something useful with your time instead of commenting on youtube videos. Like, write to a senator, or donate time at a charity. Of course, that is if you honestly believe there isn't room for "fun time".)

  • I knew you were going to say that. The difference is: I actually believe people should have time to have fun. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in your original statement. It is amazing what people will say when they are guarded by their computers.

  • The music is from Carnival of the Animals.

  • It's Aquarium, from The Carnival of the Animals, by Camille Saint-Saëns.

  • Comment removed

  • It seems like it was on the Simpsons. I really hated the episode because of how much they kept playing the same 6 notes over and over throughout the episode. (it's the one where marge remembers some old beach towne from her child-hood, and the simpsons go visit) ... overall a terrible episode, but I'm sure the piece wasn't composed for that episode of simpsons. Ironically though, when it plays through I enjoy the music thoroughly.

  • probably danny elfman

  • I love the music. I've heard it before, does anyone know the title and composer?
