  • i was at the game yesterday (5/14/09) and when this came on my art teacher stood up and started playin the air guitar!! i couldn't stop laughing and after the game i had wished i brought my camera :(

  • GO BREWERS!!!!!!!!!!

  • i mat be a braves fan but i agree wit the dude below me i would love to go to PETCO park an see trevor time

  • Gonna have to come to Miller Park to see it now.

    Go Brewers!

  • Ya I went to d backs on sat in it was trever time i rocked

2 K and one out we won

  • i dont even care if im a diamondbacks fan, Trevor Hoffman is my favorite closing pitcher of all time and i wanna go to a San Diego game IN San Diego JUST to hear Hoffman coming out the pen to the Hells Bells

  • the only way hoffman will ever get as much credit as rivera is if hoffman wins a ring(or 2 or 3) n gets a mvp award in a playoff series or better yet world series like rivera. n jus cus he has better save percentages doesnt mean squat, bonds has more hr's than babe ruth, but do u think that bonds comes even close to babe ruth.

  • trevor time is amazing. the atmosphere is petco is unbelievable. it kind of sucks that mo gets credit. hoffy doesn't get much respect.

  • rivera is still the best closer ever, no one comes close to touching his dominance. u cant take anything away from hoffman, but having better numbers or the most career saves isnt the deciding factor. mo is the best closer ever, end of story

  • Overpaid is what i believe. Put Trevor in those Yankees and he would have 4 rings too...Trevor leads by far.

  • Comparison to Rivera: Career Saves Percentage Hoffman: 89.57% Rivera: 88.24% After 12 Career Seasons: Hoffman: 89.11% (2004) Rivera: 88.24% (2006) Career Blown Saves: Hoffman: 56 (After 14 Seasons) Rivera: 55 (After 12 Seasons) Note: Hoffman had 48 Blown Saves in his 12th season of 2004. That's 7 less than Rivera in his 12th year of 2006.
  • that doesn't mean shit, rivera has saves in the playoffs. and trevor hoffman doesn't have stuff, just a change up. and 2003 eric gagne was better than those two have ever been.

  • and guess what rivera has 4 world series rings

  • There is no pitcher in history with a better career saves percentage than Trevor Hoffman. And just last week, he became the all-time saves leader. You can speak opinions and try to justify other closers to be better than Hoffman, but their statistics can't top him.

  • Damn, This guy is about to become the All-Time record holder and not one of you gives him credit. Bitter, much?

  • 6 saves from becoming the All Time Save Leader. To experience Trevor Time in person, is like nothing else in sports. One of a handful of closers that truly deserve the Hall of Fame.

  • he has good control...honestly

  • Are fans allowed to bring video cameras inside the ball park? If so, I want to bring mine!

  • He's been in a slum precently. Did he save this one or blow it?

  • He blew this save!

  • Thanks for stopping the recording before the blown save.

  • hes a great closer, but rivera is better
