  • It's good, but too elementary for today's gymnastics standards.

  • how easy is da vault :)

  • i love the hair

  • But I think it's changed for the worse. I believe Vera stood 5 feet two, weighed 110 pounds and was a ripe old 26 years of age when she won all her golds at the 1968 Olympics. I miss the days when ladies - real women - were not the exception to the rule.

  • Well, I wouldn't call Vera a real woman only standing 5'2" and weighing only 110. I mean, that's probably how tall and heavy 17-year-old Sandra Izbasa is. And I don't think the height , age, or weight of the gymnast matters to the judges, look at gymnasts like Severino or Chusovitina.

  • @KarenLovesGymnastics Sandra Izbasa is actually a very tall gymnast. I think she's around 5'5".

  • wow gymnastics sure has changed a front handspring in the olympic finals

  • @greenkiwi689 - so has the apparatus tho remember! there VERY little spring in those boards compared to today.....
