  • looks nice

  • The Merc looks fabulous! Need to try that product!

  • Thanks for all the info so its good for a clean car with faded paint but not good for a car with good paint

  • Awesome, It's amazing what TLC does, Good job, I bet they Both drive better than New cars

  • if you look up FW1 scam on Google there are a lot of forums about how bad and how unsafe that stuff is people say its a scam but look what it did to your car!

  • @joeyf504327 i figgerd id take a gamble and well from what i see it dose what is say it dose but time will tell but for now im happy. if it dose destroy my paint well ill do a vid on it and a respray will look good :D

  • @joeyf504327 I certainly wouldn't use it, no car detailer would either. It is meant to work by allowing the dirt to be lifted - it doesn't, it causes scratches to the surface. VERY BAD for a car. The only time it can be used is if the car is spotless and an insect kills itself on the bonnet! It's like cleaning the car with a piece of sandpaper if you inspect the surface afterwards. I would advise on a good wash, polish, paint correction and waxing session for best results.

  • @urbex2007 i did give the car a good rinse before i used that product. i would not use it on a car with a nice fresh paint jog but the Mercedes is getting to the point where i want to respray it so if this stuff dose scratch it owell. this should be a good test for it

  • @urbex2007 yeh, I would never use it on a car that has good paint, even my BMW is a bit oxidized on the hood, but it will get proper washes with loads of water. then a normal wax polish.

seeing somebody use it on a really dusty modern car with good paint is unbearable. the cloth turns to sand paper as soon as it touches dust, microfiber or not, and the wax just hides the abraded/displaced paint.

my Jag on the other hand has fucked paint, so I will try it for the hell of it.

  • @joeyf504327 if you do not pre-wash and remove the grit, the wax just fills the scratches and gives the illusion of a spotless clean with no harm done.

no big loss on cars that need new paint but I would NEVER use it on a car with good paint.

  • @Aussie50 have to pre wash it if dirty. yer me woman wanted to use it on her car (2008 toyota) and i say no.

  • @V8Jagnut yeh it would wreck the paint if she did not get rid of all of the dirt first. a good wax and polish is all it needs.

  • @Aussie50 yep

  • nice work!, both cars deserve lots of attention :D. I wanna get my Jag sprayed within the next year to make it look as good as it drives :D

I'll make you some opaque rego plate covers so you can show the whole front and rear of cars!

  • @Aussie50 yer they getting lots of TLC this week. plate cover would be cool.

  • Very nice Jag and Merc , the Merc came up a treat with your bit of TLC :)

  • @smigunc thanks.
