  • anyone know the professors season stats???

  • Tell me about it. I made that same comment when I showed up to televise the game. "So how is the announcer supposed to keep them straight?" Oi Vay!

  • Lol @ both teams wearing the same color...

  • At least the kid keeps himself sharp. I think most people who've had his level of success and do the entertaining type of 'AND 1' ball, would probably just sit on what they know and coast for as long as it lasted. It seems like Grayson pushes himself and keeps that edge or hunger to be the best he can.

  • wheres the tricks?

  • People that can play with the and 1 rules AND straight basketball rules is good

  • He has game for real! compared to some AND1 players who just have atlethicism and some handles

  • oh come on i see ppl in the comments comparing ''the professor'' to steve nash and that he should play in the NBA... LOL...

  • that s me number 11, i played for the central oregon hotshots hahahahaha

  • what kind of league would this be? like a semi-pro organization?

  • @PaulMenking ,

Yes. It is called the Salem Stampede. It was an IBL team (International Basketball League). Salem is his home town, so he came and played one season with us to stay in shape, and to be home for a change. The Stampede is now a member of the NABL (National Athletic Basketball League), an owner owned league starting this year (2010).

  • ahhhhh cool thanks john

  • hey i saw this comment before :p go cry instead of posting dumb spam comments please

  • He's either lying about his height or someone can't measure. If he's 5' 10", then everyone on the court must be at least 7 feet by comparison.

  • is 1,78m

  • wait no is not

  • 5' 10 is 1,77 m i think

  • his shot form and mechanics are kind of weird i mean as not "textbook" or what coaches would say. But hes got mad ass handles and well his shots go in and that all that matters i guess.

  • mad ass??? lmao

  • nice. Sorry if i dont use "proper" grammar on the internet.

  • its not that its just that it doesnt make any sense lmao

  • wow... he can really knock down those 6 footers... and 2 or 3 wide open 3 pointers..

The Professor the Best ..!

  • puede ser interesante ver esto 10 minutos pero un partido entero nu se puede NO HAY DEFENSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ES ABURRIDO MUCHO TIEMPO ESTOOOOOOOO

  • pues tienes razón

  • This is regular basketball stupid. There are madd open shots in regular basketball. This is an impressive display of shooting. Don't HAte

  • btw nobody can just be a guard you dumbass they've got to be like a shooting guard or a point guard or somthing :P

  • why do they keep giving him shots??? its obvious hes a shooter after the first one or two shots

    hahah

    DUH

dont get me wrong professors good but the first like 15 shots they werent even guarding him

  • didnt u read the description?? its HIGHLIIGHTES

  • howz this and 1 hes not even doin any tricks

  • cuz its not.

  • oh my bad

  • @JohnDallas i think the professor would do well with three pointers in the nba pluz hell probsbly win evry 3 point copetion dont ya tthink?

  • hey man,....i don't think and1 is just about the tricks man....i think it's teamwork and skills....it's like nba....only better..xD

  • nice 1

    and 1

    me 1

    you 1

    THEY WON...1

  • THE PROFESSOR ES MI IDOLO CAAON

  • certainly from the other video i watched he has insane ball handling but only for street ball ...for basketball he is nothing special...

  • no way man he is something special!

  • daddy

  • so did he l;eave crappy and1?

he shuld go pro man (nba)

  • suck my balls he is no way nearrr good enough to do that!

  • lol bitch suck your own balls he gets hands all ova his face n still sinx em shots

plus now he can dunk, that deserves more attention!

  • oh get real. hes not good enought to go pro not by a long shot. u should know that.. sure he can ''dunk'' but even i can dunk. and im shorter than the professor. but its useless in a game if u can't get enough hight on it.

  • He did play in the CBA for the Atlanta Krunk last year.....did well too

  • Boucher doesnt play in the NBA, he almost got to play in CBA

  • check out his official website at graysonboucher. net

  • what pro team is the professor playing for now

  • Just playing for AND1. He doesn't have time for anything else these days. He made a 'one time' appearance in his home town this last summer judging streetball in Salem, Oregon.

  • when did he play for the stampede and did he start and what position was he

  • Three years ago. He was a guard. He started.

  • 5.8 5.9 5.10 got it?

  • LOL at this music. ha. Professor is killing it though...

  • Aint no one ur friend brah. You is a clown so just get off the video.

  • Yall arguing over a person your not seems silly to me.And you say ur 29 how come ur not out there.OH! you know why cuse ur not 29 if ur arguing with a youngster his age.Looks like ur just sitting there watching An1 Mixetape Tour 2008 cheering on The Professor.Wow so thats really sad 29 year old.

  • Friends, is it just me or am I having a long running YouTube debate with an 8th grader? Shame on me! I'm 29 years old and I've been going toe-to-toe with a 13 yr old for the past 2 days. I've GOTTA get my life together. Ha! 12345tghyu, please don't respond. This message isn't to you little guy. I'm sorry little buddy. This has gone on long enough. You lose; the debate is mine and you can't even spell. If you CAN spell, just respond 1 time in English, NOT text language. Long live Grayson Boucher!

  • The following year he aspired to be a starter so he could gain attention and work towards playing basketball at the collegiate level. The following year he transferred to Salem Academy, a small private school in Salem, where he became the starting point guard. At the end of the year, Boucher was one vote away from becoming league MVP and was an All-State selection, averaging 20 points and 7 assists per game

  • Boucher was born and raised in Keizer, Oregon, a city outside of the state's capital, Salem. While growing up his main influence was his father, the man responsible for putting the basketball in his hands. Boucher developed his skills during years of practicing in the driveway, youth leagues, and AAU basketball. Although talented, he always was undersized among his peers and teammates. Boucher found himself still on the junior varsity team as a junior in high school at McNary High School.

  • darks versus darks? some manager fcked up on which uniforms to bring. lol.

  • Tell me about it. It was a real piece of work trying to do this on TV. The colors were actually Black and dark Blue, but they might as well been the same color on TV. I gave em an ear full for it.

  • I just talked to him today and stood right

next to him. I am just under 5-10. He was about 1/2 in taller than I was while talking to him...

So I guess you are 6-6! Congrats...now they can call you michael...

  • If he is 5'10, then I am 6'6. He is 5'7 5'8 at best. It doesn't matter how tall you are. Ask Earl Boykins, Michael Adams, Mugsy Bouges, Calvin Murphy....

  • Professor man keep doin ur thing

  • 167cm

  • grayson is around 5'8-5'10. I know him personaly and im good friends with the family. Grayson is a stud. His game isnt limited to tricks. He is a great all around basktball player and deserves all the respect and attention he gets. He should be an example to all of us normal sized hoopers that have goals in basketball. He is a great guy. A great role-model and a great person in the community. He stays humble and doesnt let his fame get to him. Good lookin out Gray. Haters Hate Harder

  • cool

  • Grayson Boucher is a God. I watch The And One Mixtape shows all day on ESPN. I love it 100% Sad but true, these guys cannot play at a professional level. Grayson Boucher didn't even make his Varsity team until his senior year. A player on one episode was all hype because he got to work out with the Sonics. All of this flash is a skill in and of itself but it's not really basketball. They're more like magicians or acrobats or even gymnasts. Long live The Professor. No hate. No homo, just truth.

  • u 1000% correct

  • u wrong he was on vs his 10th grade year he just dint ply and u wrong about and 1 u stupid bicth

  • -Now I respond directly to 12345tghyu: First, the internet is pretty easy to use "u stupid bitch." Before you come on here making yourself look even dumber than your awful grammar already makes you look, just do some research next time. The previous two posts are directly copied and pasted, "u stupid bitch."

-Second, I'm not wrong about And 1. 'Skip To My Lou' is the only And 1 player to ascend to the NBA level. Fuck off "u stupid bitch." Let me know when you earn your GED. I'll send a card.

  • u stupid bicth most of them in the off season play overseas in the aba nbdl or cba so it not dat big of a deal to not be in the nba there is other proffesnal leage to play in and i dindt copy and paste notin bicth exscuse my spelling im in a rush and i have my diploma 2012 ho and i had a 3.5 on my last report card

  • You make a weak argument for the real world basketball skills of And 1 players. I'll sit and watch And 1 all day on ESPN 2. I love those guys but what they do cannot hold a candle to the #64 team in the NIT, let alone NCAA; forget about NBA. And of all those Euro leauges that you mention, you & I both know that the NBA is the BIG STAGE. Period. Stop arguing, go see if mom hooked your lunch up with your favorite snack-pack, and GO TO SCHOOL SO YOU CAN LEARN TO SPELL BETTER. "U stupid bitch."

  • when did he get a work out for the sonics

  • Professor didn't get the Sonics work out. It was someone else and I don't know when. 'Skip To My Lou' is the guy who went to the league and played a good bit.

  • it says 5 ft 10 >.>

  • yes, he is 5'10 (177cm).

  • good clip... hes 5'10 , hes short

  • No way is the Professor 5'10!

  • he getting signed to the lakers

  • wat? scince when

  • idk it was on some website its just rumor i guess but i hope he does

  • ROFLMaO

yeah, and they're trading kobe for collins

    u'd prob believe that too

  • he is in the CBA playing with the ATLANTA KRUNK

  • yep! i assisted them coz im an airport representative here in dubai airports..

  • i just assisted them in the airport here in Dubai last night for their And1 mixtape tour.. Boucher,Grayson (the professor) is a good guy we had a nice conversation and i had pictures with him and the rest of the team. Eacalade lost his luggage! hehehe! Big Boy!

  • u talked to proffessor?

  • I think so he can play in nba... Rafer Alston were in AND1 and now he's NBA player in Houston Rockets. He can't make lot of tricks but he can be playmaker

  • Heigh : 5'10'' That's not serious... is it ?

That do one meter sixty +or-, impossible...

Ca fait 1m60 même pas ?! c'est pas serieu il peut pas faire ca ...

  • if he did play in the nba, he would be a lot like steve nash. i'm not saying he's as good, but that's the type of player he would be, a perimeter point guard who can shoot lights out and makes very good passes.

  • na i dont think so it would be to much of a transaction from street to nba ball

  • @cribb you are on crack if you think he'd be similar to nash. HUGE difference in And One talent level and NBA

  • @hoobie06 the talent level isn't that different. several of the better and-1 players have gone to the nba and had success. he obviously has a lot of talent and i think a lot of potential. again, i'm not saying he's as good as steve nash or that he would be nearly as successful, i'm just saying that their sizes and skill-sets are very similar and i think that's how he would have to play to have any success whatsoever on the professional level.

  • @cribb fair enough. i disagree on the talent level think but they would have similar games. i only know of rafer that went on to play in the nba. who else did? good stuff though. i agree that boucher is a pretty talented dude

  • Thanks Made-up Statman Mcgee.

  • 134-111? Yeah, I'd agree he is not much of a defender if he was on a team that gave up 111 in a win.Besides, playing streetball games across the country is tough but its not like playing 82 games at the highest level of talent, with no chance to half-ass it while someone takes it one on one iso with no shot clock while you stand and wait around....The NBA takes a finely conditioned athlete...Rafer was the best one of the And One dudes and he's an average point guard.

  • if he is so good, why he doesnt goes to an nba team..?!

  • Ya... your right. The whole 'maken tons o money where he's at' thing is probably over rated anyway.

  • he'd have to be able to play some defense to play in the NBA. Don't tell me no one focuses on defense in and1: his D is terrible even compared to the other and1 guys.

  • there is a lot of people that should go to the NBA and dont make it !!

  • have u seen him dunk its sweet

  • Professor in High School -- Only on my Channel

  • his brother was my leader at my b-ball camp >.<

  • my idol

  • dam he has a weird shot

  • my comment was sarcastic

And 1 is the best man!

  • y u all dissin on and1 that aint right

  • despite his physique, he is gifted.....oo yes indeed

  • i think that professor could play in the league look at earl boykins professor is a good point guard may a 2nd or 3rd option the man has skills

  • hes not nba material but u gotta admit he got a fucking nice jumper i seen him in real life several times and he got a ratchet

  • What league could he handle? Not the NBA. No sir. Any NBA point would be too big for him to get his shot over--except Boykins. He would then be forced to drive the ball and get his shot blocked by the bigs about 70% of the time. Now lets talk D. Everyone would be licking their chops knowing they got a 5'10" guy to post up. And he's not strong enough to stop anybody from doing it. He is what he is--a great showman for the AND1 tour.

  • but hes smart and has handles if he uses them both then he can just fake out and fade away too be a capable threat

  • dam dis dood needa go play som real college ball he cud make it to d2 at least tho

  • prof is garbage he couldnt play d-2 let alone d-1 ball. he's too short and not althetic enough to play on the college level thats why hes in some scrub league.

  • Yeah, because And 1 is a scrub league

  • no, and 1 isnt even a league. its a joke.

  • fool..and1 is a team not a league

  • hes great. He plays so much better in AND1 tho. He's way better then Hot Sauce

  • 155 lbs? he looks more like 140.

and yes he does travel. but it's the same traveling allowed in the NBA. they really to to re-write the rules for basketball in the NBA?

  • was sooooooooooo me

  • the professooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor

  • sick 3pointer

  • hes 5,10 hes short but he dribbles nice,,

  • yeah, he looks much younger than his age, and its also cool that he can play both streetball and "real" basketball. ^ ^

  • He is a good player yes,but damn it shocked me learning he was 21,i mean look at the guy,he's like a 15 year old in appearence, height and body index, those arms are like 2 inches thin

  • wow he is a very good shooter

  • he can play

  • but when i play im a shooting guard n i drive all the time n jus lay up n our point guard well he jus stays in the key a lot n helps me out but cos im like mvp haha i drive a lot

  • hes a sick shooter

  • yes he can dunk, hes not a dunker but he can dunk, theres a difference. but he doesnt have to drive with a shot like dat. on an organized team any coach would talk a 3 point shooter over a guard who drives all the time. they draw files driving but with a really good 3 point shooter u wont really need too.

  • Nice to see him doing the fundamentals.

  • what league is this?

  • IBL The International Basketball League.

(It looks like they finally got the 'reply' thing working)

  • Dam that boy can shoot, hes the best player in the AND1 team by a long way.

  • he is more like a shooting gaurd cause all he does is shoot he never drives like a tru point gaurd he sick styll

  • Ya. He is too short to penatrate and then get up high. He is better off being 'silky smooth' on his outside shots and feeding the forwards the inside stuff. He rarely touches the rim. I've watched him shoot three pointers during practice sitting on the floor. It's sick how strong he is.

  • Can he dunk? I thought I saw him dunk one time before. But I definitely think he could handle The League.

  • what year was this?

  • 2006, between AND1 seasons. He's from here and came home to play IBL while not on AND1.

  • yeah nice footage if only the commentator could pronounce his name right. :S

  • 'Boucher' is pronounced like it would be in French, 'boo-shay'. His dad's jewlery store is Boucher Jewlers here in town, an up class place. Most people probably say it wrong... like it looks... like a meat cutter.

  • some great footage here

  • P-Funk definitely can shoot
