  • Tough to choose between this version and the one done by Ernie Ashworth...both are wonderful. On second thought, why do I need to choose? I can listen to both of them!

  • i din't grow up in this era but i can remember my mom playing all these golden oldies.

    i learned to love and respect this music. as a young teen and still to this day listen to it.

  • @hrpman when roy wasnt getting hits in the us anymore he went to england samething with the everly brothers neil sedaka [there is a book that has pictures of performers in england that were unknown in the us in the pre beatle era the last picture is roy orbison with the beatles they were the opening act for him

  • @hrpman roy orbison seemed to have more in the UK he was doing a similar country rock pop thing with strings but he was writing his own songs
