  • I have one of these. I bought it because I'm an artist and I love to sketch with ink. It suits my needs very well. I've played with the Ahab, but it's not as reliable, which can bring me out of my drawing zone if I have to futz with it.

Thanks for the great review with the ink--very helpful to see how it's different with the Iro-whatsit inks.

  • very big hands /wink ;'D

  • thanks for the review!

  • @Tiatoaniltzcoatz, it's a matter of your personal preference. If you don't like color variation, though, you will not want a pen with a flexible nib! It will bring out variation in almost any ink.

  • should I like color variation? I don't know I kinda prefer a consistent color.

  • @has91n, you're very welcome!

  • @onehundredand37, the only one I'm aware of is the Noodler's flex pen, which goes for $14 (and is quite a deal at that price). But, they're incredibly hard to find because they get snatched up as soon as they become available!

  • modern flex pens are sooo expensive! do you know any cheaper modern flex pens available today? they are so rare.
