  • Thank you, a wonderful version, I really appreciated it!! Well done mate!! and thanks heaps

  • You're very welcome.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Well Pablo I am a bit late I know but here goes anyway. You really surprised me, very pleasantly I must add. You sang that song beautifully and to make it a tribute to the victims of the Victorain bushfires is magnificent. Blackduck46 should get the facts before making the statement he did. These "idiots as he calls them did all sorts to get permission to make their home fireproof but the beaurocracy wouldn't allow it. Incidentally several years ago I was in Tenterfield fighting the fires there

  • Thanks very much. Yeah I guess he just went off without thinking about it too much. Wrong time and place. Good on you for doing your bit in Tenterfield.

I sure hope this years fire season isn't as bad as the last one.

  • Im am with you, he sings this so beautifully, peter allen is one of my hero's

  • Thanks again....again.

  • Pablo, there was no one giving you applause on the video but I can assure you of a standing ovation from my end! Very well done and much appreciated.

  • Thanks very much.

  • Hey Pablo

A very wonderfull Song and you perform it very well !

I have a question: Can you tell me with what Kind of Software do make these Videos ? It s simply iChat ?

    best regards

    Michael

  • Hey, I have to be honest, I only perform for the camera, then I send it off to my brother Scotty. He does the final editing and mixing.

He could tell you what he uses, his user ID is Zebonka.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Can i play the Devils advocate here?

Who builds in the bush without building a safe fire escape building? What council is taking responsibility for allowing a small town to not provide a "safe" area in case of such a fire. Who is responsible for there not being a two lane exit or entrance road to such country settlements? Basically some one needs to be accountable for what transpired. We pay for idiots that build in hazard areas, and then asked to donate for their stupidity? Get real here.

  • Hmmmm, whereas I do get the points you are making, I did this in solidarity to those who lost loved ones/everything.

Do you perhaps think there may be a better forum for this point of view? Rather than an obscure Youtube vid?

  • Your mastery of the technology that lets you put together a group sing from a distance is wonderful. and the results are really very nice! Best wishes!

  • Thanks!

  • Ha, I was just archiving one of my DV tapes (it was the one with our last all-in Jam) and turns out this was the last song we played before giving up for the night.

Wasn't really useable (neither was "You Sexy Thing") but I'd completely forgotten that we'd tried this before.

  • Hmmmmm, bugger.

  • I have been listening to this song for about two hours now........it is the best way to spend a saturdaynight on my own. Thank you - it is a wonderful song and you are all great.

  • Thanks very much Hannah.

  • nice one pablo. i have famiy living in victoria. the fires came within two miles of them so they tell me. but thank god they are safe. i feel so sorry for all those that lost there lifes, and for the people who lost everything. but hey, still loving your music.

  • Glad to hear that they ar safe. Yeah it is all pretty awful.

    Thanks very much for watching.

  • makes me remember Peter Allen, he died way too young and I believe he had inside of him more songs like this.

  • Yeah I think he did.

    Thank very much for watching.

  • Wow- I hadn't heard about the fires- guess we are too concerned with our economic crisis to report on what's going on in the rest of the world! Or maybe I just quit watching the news? Anyway, thanks for this beautiful song Paulie, Helen, and Pete- and the concern and good wishes behind it.

  • Thanks a heap Mich. I hope alls well at your end.

  • wonderful dedication. i love your voice. And your band..your backgroundsingers..they all are gorgeous!!

  • Thanks very much. They are also my family.

  • The sound on that was really lovely, and your voice sounded great!

Excellent of you to do, our prayers our with all of the people effected by the disaster.

  • Thnaks very much!

  • That was beautiful. My prayers are with you all. I'm so terribly sorry this has happened.

  • Oh me and mine are fine, it's the poor people in Victoria who need the prayers.

    Thanks very much.

  • I just went to the Red Cross to make my donation. It was the least that I could do after all the music that you have so generously shared. I just wanted you to know that your appeal for help has had an effect.

  • Wow, thanks so much Karen.

  • So sorry for all the destruction there:( Our hearts go out to you all. Your posting may help. After the earthquake hit here our vid got over 23,000 hits and raised alot of money for the souls that were effected. People do care. I will link this video on our main site. Take care....Hannah

  • Will do, I'm in Japan and my family are on the other side of the continent......Thanks for the link Hannah. Very kind of you.

  • good job Paulie! that worked out cool

  • Thanks Herlen.

  • You guys keep amazing me with your music, I could literally listen to you guys all day long!!

  • Hey Karryn, thanks a heap.

  • Can I ask, the guy with the white hair? is he your dad? I see him in all this vids, and I am thinking what relation is he to you?

  • (:)) he's my partner (helen) (Pablo's sister) ie Pab's brother-in-law. His name is Peter.

  • Ahhh I see, cool!

  • I'm 42. He's a fair bit older than me, but age doesn't matter to me. He is the coolest guy you could ever meet. A really great man. A ridiculously talented man too. He helps us put these vids together musically. He works out the chords and tricky bits. He is our engine room, Paul is the voice of the family. The rest of us are happy noise. Scot is a great guitarist though

  • Good stuff, and it always sounds fantastic what you guys do, I never seen a family so musical. I wish my family brought me up like this, but hey ho. Anyways, all of you carry on doing what you do :o)

  • Yeah, as Helen said, he's my brother in law. Thanks for watching!

  • Great song of support!

    Sounds real nice

    5*'s

  • Thanks again Johnny!

  • Wow! Wow! I'm running out of words wehn trying to describe what I feel when I listen to you guys! Excellence!!!

  • Thanks again Svet. I feel the same with your vids....
