I just bought an 1894 Chickering which looks just like this one, only ebonized and not restored. Can anyone tell me the model? Mine is a 6' 4", I can't tell the size of this one.
Chickering is my favorit piano. Jonas Chickering was a great pianomaker at his time. Liszt beloved this piano. Please, can you send for me more pictures and informations ?
your piano is identical to the one i play... only mine is NOT restored :-( there is nothing like a chickering :-) so warm! only, i've been calling mine a "baby grand"... have i been using the wrong terminology all this time???
