First of all Steve Stevens wrote this song with Ben Watkins.

Secondly, in the clip from Fuji rock, Suguizo does not play the unaccompanied solo like Mr. Stevens does. Steve is in a whole other class to Suguizo. It's obvious. He's played flamenco style on at least 3 albums that i have in my collection. This is not a style Suguizo is known for.

Sorry, but as a guitarist I can see that he can't do it as fluently as sugizo. Sugizo has more discipline in his style.

Steve is obviously good! but in this song, his flamenco shows its weekness.

whys he playign this stuff now, sure its got talent, its not shit stuff but his work was so much better when he played metal and you can do so much more in heavy metal, you could play this type of music in a metal guitar solo and add wammy bar moves, harmonic squeals, and finger tapping plus the sound of a distorted electric guitar is immence alone

Steve is such a versatile guitar player that he can play more than one style. He hasn't abandoned Metal at all. Check out his new album Memory Crash which came out this year. He does what you say and so much more! You can listen to music from the new album on his myspace as well.

Agreed, Memory Crash is friggen amazing.  He really shows off his chops and has excellent phrasing. Uses all of the crazy guitar effects like normal. One of my favorite instrumental albums.
