I nearly didn't make it to the end of the vid. Biggest bunch of ... I heard in a while. Do people point and laugh now when they see him on the street?? I love how he doesn't look into the camera to really connect with his audience!
Talk about talking down to your audience, what a load of patronising crap, great brands have been in conversation with their audience long before "technology made it possible"
Maybe a reasonable point poorly made, enough of the hand gestures and overly patronising tone. Getting sacked for that is a bit rough if that is true still if you live by the sword you die by it. But I am extremely sick of advertisers these days, that's what they need to fix, its so bad they almost make me not want to buy their sRHt.
Gareth.... you have been hoisted on your own petard. Virally.

So crystal clear on communication that he works at a Company with an unreadable unmemorable name. MD in this case clearly short for midget dick.

Basically his job - his life - is about putting bow ties on turds.

Language that's fit for purpose? Yes, Gareth, that's exactly how people speak when they're in the pub.
This patronising, smug and odious little nobody makes me ashamed to be in advertising.
Hmmm - he's not sure about Crispin Porter.
I wonder if anyone there has even heard of him.
I heard he was fired after this gut-wrenching awfulness appeared.
I pray that's true.
And what in God's name convinced Campaign that it was worthy of sharing?
Come friendly bombs and fall on Syzygy.

The painful truth is that this kind of crap is the norm. Analogies ruined medicine for 80 years, now let's see them do the same to marketing.

This deserves to go viral.
Best parody of contemporary marketing 'thinking' I've ever seen, complete with pitch-perfect patronising tone and mannerisms.
The man's a comic genius - stand aside Borat and Bruno, today satire has a new king and his name is Gareth P!
