For an untethered jailbreak they would need to literally crack the firmware and in that they would be breaking the law by redistributing that information. They are trying to find a way to simply modify the "ipsw" files to hold a jailbreak while rebooting. This so far has proved unsuccessful. However there is a way. Unfortunately this 1. Requires a Mac. (which some people don't have). And 2. A way to upload your custom ipsw into itunes for a normal "restore" and have it do this when itunes opens

Ok so I did the jailbreak and then when cydia popped up I hot restore from backup because I wanted my music back on. I got up and when I got back it was at white screen again. I think when it restartes iboot would not load it so every time I needed to turn my iPod on I would need to do code sample no. 3

Did you download my packages?

or else you have to download redSn0w and paste in the firmware bundles with your firmware bundles, which could cause confusion xD

But download the XPwn and iRecovery again and see if that works!

Enable quick mode by right clicking on the Cmd in the taskbar

Click on properties and go to the first tab and check the Quick Mode or Quick edit :)

Yes, but remember to take a Backup on your music and stuff, because after the jailbreak you will have to restore everything as it was before!
