Here it is christmas and I started listening to the BB and can't seem to get away. Too ChrisGurToo it doesn't ever seem like we were that young but I'm glad I was young at that time. Grad in 65, service in 66, returned in 69 and then college on the GI Bill. What a life. Kids of today missed a lot. What a treasured memory. Thanks John1948...you've made my 2011 christmas.

Actually, if you're old enough to remember, during the 60s, long before Bruce Sprinsteen was even heard of, The Beach Boys were commonly known as "boss". It was a surfer term, indiginous to Southern California. And the term has been nicked, ever since then.
