Besides, that particular Menorah, the Chanukiya, is more symbolic to Jews then to Christians. In any case, that event doesn't indicate that Moldovans in general, or the priest and his followers in particular, are intolerant towards other religions. And the fact is that Stefan the Great, whose statue we are talking about, was very tolerant to Jews.

1. This is Republic of Moldova, a Romanian-speaking but former Soviet country. See the flag in the video.
2. Like Georgia, Moldova has obscure Russian speaking armies illegally occupying part of its territory since 90s.
3. The whole issue here SEEMS to be a row between the Moldovan Church (a branch of Church of Russia, sponsored by the Russian state) and Chisinau City Hall.
