I think that instead of learning Romeo and Juliet and all of that classic stuff at school, we should really start reading books like Perks of being a Wallflower and Looking for Alaska. These books are amazing, I'm willing to sit for hours on end to understand these books. :)
i really liked it! definately the best trailer i have seen. the scenes you used from the movies, movies i really like actually, fit nicely. i loved the scene from Garden State, all three of them standing on the dumpster. Charlie,Sam,Patrick. brilliant.
The only thing I didn't like so much was the voice of Charlie. The way it's written I imagine his voice not sounding... emotionless, but with less expression.
it rly was! i was like OMGGG wtfff. it was crazy how the author connected that to him stopping sam from going in his pants. but i dont know how you can forget being molested like wtf? but it was also rly scary when he was talking about being naked on his couch and he had the mentality of w.e age he was when his aunt molested him
He didn't forget, he entered a sort of Pseudo-Reality where he convinced himself it never happened. It was hidden in the back of his mind and covered by him being the cause of her death, therefore it was all OK.
It is also looked at as if his "Second Present" was her death and the car crash was a suicide. But I guess we'll never know unless we were to ask Chbsky himself.
i love this book so much, its easily my favorite of all time.
as far as your video i liked it except you should have put someone smoking a cigerette insteed of weed and the voice sounded a little too old to be charlie, not innocent enough, and a bit too frantic. i have given charlie a lot of thought, hope you dont mind my critisism : /
as for aesthetic the movie does provide a good feel for it. book is great, read it god knows how many times i have. but over all every one should read the book changes lives 0_0, great gob by the way best trailer i have seen so far keep up the god job how knows u might direct the move some day. ^_^
at first he looked like a criminal in the trailer but when the first quotes came it got amazing especially with the light at the end of the tunnel. if there was a movie like that it would be possible to do it a little bit of justice....this is excactly how i imagined charly's voice
I would have to agree I cant see this book being a movie its an amazing book. But the fact that he remains anonymous throughout the whole book would put a bit of a damper on the the idea. I wish it could be a movie, but I dont think it would be possible.
