On further reflection, the video I saw of SNL had the image reversed, as a mirror image. I had seen this happen on another video, but as the tuning keys on the SNL UKE were on both sides of the neck (unlike this Tele Uke), it was not obvious here. She is very talented, this is smart music, it will never have super mass appeal, only silly banal mindless music ever does anymore. Smart Girl, went to Northwestern. Even though she quit to act, you don't get admitted to that school very easily.

The area is normally a big parking lot. but it is sunken in front of the sky backdrop. When a production needs to use an open ocean scene they fill in the sunken area with thousands of gallons of water. It then becomes an ocean. I have walked past it many times.
