This song is not Argentina. Spanish is a tango written by Felix Garza and his music is John Villadomat.

It was created in 1923 to review a play of "New Spain."

Introduced in the Rio de la Plata (Buenos Aires - Argentina / Montevideo, Uruguay), an international cast called The Mexicans.

Although the origin is different from all the tangos that were born in Argentina and Uruguay, in a short time the subject was known worldwide and performed in other rhythms.

This piece was created by two Spaniards, Félix GARZO (lyrics) and Juan VILADOMAT (music) for a Barcelona "apache" review in 1922, and first recorded by two famous Spanish music-hall stars, Ramoncita Rovira in 1925 and Pilar Arcos in 1926.
