  • The light coming out will always be white spectrum. They just look like they have a tint when you look at the bulb. 6kk gives you pure white, 10kk gives you a purple-ish tint, and 12kk is blue. If the light coming out is tinted, it isn't a real HID. Simple test, put a sheet of white paper a foot in front of the headlamp. If it turns blue, its just a blue halogen. All Xenon-arc bulbs burn in the 600-750nm (white light) wavelength range.

    even say it has a hint of blue but the thing is ive seen other lights that are 12000k have blue lights and purple lights and yet these are white ? how ? Im just wondering as im kind of dealing with the same crap i have 12000k bulbs but theyre white as white can be,
