  • What's the names of the female goaulds

  • Who is the woman that appears after Olokun and before Sokar at 0:25?

  • @Tkhaikovski She is "Anna" from Season 7 Episode 19 "Resurrection"

  • @VickiTurner24601 Thank you. I forgot that episode.

  • Just perfect.

  • Hey this is great, I suggest now someone should do the plagues song

  • Incredible video. You timed all of the clips with the music, and matched the scenes very well!

  • @CelesteFallenAngel Thank you!

  • Excellently put together vickiturner!

Anubis was so bad-ass it was unreal - one if the best sci-fi baddies ever!

  • @Piensas26 Thanks!!!

  • i think hathor was the best goa'uld. she didnt last very long but she was the creepiest one to me

  • WOW! I just finished season 2, but what a preview! This is an awesome song to begin with and it really does fit Stargate perfectly. Nice job. I can't pass up favoriting this. Thanks again. :D And btw, Teal'c is crack on crack with an extra dose of crack. I can't get enough. XD

  • @RigelHopeStar Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

  • AWESOME VIDEO!

  • This song works great with SG1. Especially since this is how the Goa'uld felt about Earth around the time of Season 1. "You may have killed Ra, but you're playing with the Big Boys now." Even though Ra was the most powerful, but they would never admit that. With the exception of showing a Serpent Guard when they mention Horus (you could have shown a Horus guard) this is very well edited. I loved it. Totally captures the Goa'uld mentality and attitude towards SG-1.

    Small note: Baal is awesome!

  • I notice how the Goa'uld's eyes glow whenever they want to put emphasis on something. Imagine one ordering a pizza.

"I would like a pizza with mushrooms (eyes glow), tomatoes (eyes glow), and pepperoni (eyes glow)."

  • When will people accept that the Goa'uld are a thousand times better than the Wraith?

  • Guh, the Goa'uld were the best villains ever created!

    And Ba'al was the best.

*blushes and giggles like the insane fangirl i am*

  • @Snapjinx Oh, i so agree that Ba'al was the best goa'uld ever. No question.

  • I listened to the Prince of Egypt soundtrack the other day and all I could think was: the Goa'ulds! The Goa'ulds! Thanks for making the video I pictured in my head!

  • @TheGameFilmGuruMan I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

  • fitting song :)

  • stop this foolish mission...watch a true magician lol

  • great n1

  • one of the best vids over goaulds ever!

  • i wanna know the name of the band or the artist name

  • @Emperorofthestargate Hey! I got this song from the "Prince of Egypt" soundtrack. Hans Zimmer and Stephen Schwartz are the composers. That's all I know--I hope it helps!

  • @VickiTurner24601 At 2:36 with the Horus guard by the fence what episode was that?

  • who is singing it is that some kind of band if it is i would like to know who it is

  • Martin Short and Steve Martin are the ones singing - no idea who the backups are. VickiTurner already named the composers.

  • thanks for this video

  • @Emperorofthestargate I'm glad you like it!!!

  • My god, i remember watching Moses as a child

  • one issue when they sang "By the might of Horus" You showed a Serpent Guard not a Horus Guard

  • That. Is. So. Awesome. *loves*

  • Love it!

I was putting together a puzzle almost a year ago, heard this song on my comp, and immediately thought of Stargate! W00T!

The only thing I'd say is when Hotep says "Pick up your silly twig, boy" you should have had Teal'c picking up or using a Staff Weapon! That would have been awesome!

  • @JainaSkylar That would have been a good scene! i wonder why i didn't think of it.

  • I just watched the movie, and Im not sure I understand. Do the Goauld have the ability to live without a host? If they don't, then how can you blame them for taking them.

  • they take unwilling hosts, taking them against their will, plus they had unas, but choosed humans instead

  • Yeah they do, they just cant do anything, really. Have you seen the Ep. First Ones?

  • They live underwater...when they take a host their bodies atrophy rendering them unable to live outside of a host

  • They can live without a host... in their natural environment.

The Goauld Ra was dying and without the ability to get home, however.

    He took his host.

But what he did with his host was evil. Pretending to be the humans god and then enslaving the race is evil.

If you watch the series, wait until you meet the Tok'ra.

The Goa'uld TAKE hosts when they don't have to. The Tok'ra ASK for hosts, they don't take someone against their will.

  • Also, in another episode, Skaa'ra gets possessed by a Goa'uld. The Goa'uld takes away any sense of life or self. The Goa'uld prevented Skaa'ra from ever living his life the way he would have. Getting married, having children, etc.

Sha're also gets possessed by a Goa'uld and... well... just watch the series

  • LOL, the Tok'ra are Ra's Children idiot, who turned from their Father's way, FOOLS!!!!!!!

Kneel to the Goa'uld silly child.

  • They should totally have used this as a teaser trailer - a sort of 'welcome to Stargate, here's what you've missed so far'. Great stuff!

  • I was wondering if someone had done this video yet. Apparently so.

  • this really is as good as it gets!!! 5*

  • I just love this video! This song is just perfect for them. Great job with the editing.

The Goa'uld made an absolutely incredible group of villians, but what I think makes them so unique is that they were just as interesting as individuals. Personally, I'm really sad the system lords have been killed off. I don't think any villian, Stargate or otherwise, will ever come close to their pompous arrogance, ruthless villiany, and really cool costumes! ~Jess

  • @SamJackShipper93 The Wraiths got nothing on the Goa'uld.

  • Anubis was my favorite. He was completely ruthless.

  • He was really ruthless. I felt that he and Ba'al took the Goa'uld to a whole other level. In Abyss, Ba'al's non-chalant attitude while torturing was unnerving and very scary in its own right. Anubis had no regard for his fellow Goa'uld and demanded dominion over them. They were characters that made the Goa'uld more evil, and not pathetic.

  • True, true.

  • Excellent video. This proves that the Goa'uld were more interesting collectively, not individually.

  • Thanks! The Goa'uld are a very interesting race. They hate each other, yet rely on each other to keep up the myth of Gods. They cannot totally destroy each other's reputation as Gods without hurting their own prestige. Thanks for the review!

  • You are welcome.

  • this good...

  • thank you!

  • easily one of the most awesome videos i have ever seen. excellent job!

  • thank you!!

  • OMG, that was awesome!! I've seen the Prince of Egypt movie several times 'cause of younger siblings but I've never notived untill now all the names of gods in this song! 5/5 favorited!

  • Thank you so much for your review!

  • Very nicely done:-) 5/5 favorited.

  • Thank you!

  • Watever it is.... the TAU'RI...triumph over these so call GODS....lol

  • Great video! I loved it! :)

  • Stargate and Prince of Egypt, stylistically they just seem to recall each other.

  • OMG that RULED! HA! I loved the edit. *applause* :D

  • Thanks!

  • The great thing is, The Prince of Egypt harbors the Ancient Egyptian Gods, and Stargate's System Lords ARE the 'Gods'... except I heard there's one called Zeus and that's Greek xD

  • Thank you!

  • I love the video. I keep watching it. I just wanted to know, what did you use to create it?

  • I'm so glad you like this video! I used a few year old version of iMovie. Thank you so much for the review

  • Wow, just love it!

Question: Which episode is at 1:15 and 1:26?

  • Thanks!

1:15 is Children of the Gods, Season 1

1:26 is Hathor, also Season 1 (i think)

  • Ok, thank you! :D

  • finally someone did this I've often done a search for this combo and I have got to say that you did a great job on it as well.

  • I was surprised no one did it, too. That's why i made one! I'm very glad you like it.

  • Best version of Playing With the Big Boys I have ever seen!

  • Thanks!

  • So Cool! I knew someone had to do something like this!

  • Thanks for reviewing!

  • Wow, perfect song choice, and loved the editing - must have taken a long time to put together!

  • Thanks!

  • Wow, wonderful job! That was simply amazing!

  • Thanks!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Oh my Gosh! Great job! I love The Prince of Egypt, and SG-1 and this song really fit well! The cutting and the clips were perfect! The Goa'uld are such great villians! Well done! Five stars and a fav! ~Jess
