WOW! I just finished season 2, but what a preview! This is an awesome song to begin with and it really does fit Stargate perfectly. Nice job. I can't pass up favoriting this. Thanks again. :D And btw, Teal'c is crack on crack with an extra dose of crack. I can't get enough. XD
This song works great with SG1. Especially since this is how the Goa'uld felt about Earth around the time of Season 1. "You may have killed Ra, but you're playing with the Big Boys now." Even though Ra was the most powerful, but they would never admit that. With the exception of showing a Serpent Guard when they mention Horus (you could have shown a Horus guard) this is very well edited. I loved it. Totally captures the Goa'uld mentality and attitude towards SG-1.
I listened to the Prince of Egypt soundtrack the other day and all I could think was: the Goa'ulds! The Goa'ulds! Thanks for making the video I pictured in my head!
@Emperorofthestargate Hey! I got this song from the "Prince of Egypt" soundtrack. Hans Zimmer and Stephen Schwartz are the composers. That's all I know--I hope it helps!
I was putting together a puzzle almost a year ago, heard this song on my comp, and immediately thought of Stargate! W00T!
The only thing I'd say is when Hotep says "Pick up your silly twig, boy" you should have had Teal'c picking up or using a Staff Weapon! That would have been awesome!
I just watched the movie, and Im not sure I understand. Do the Goauld have the ability to live without a host? If they don't, then how can you blame them for taking them.
Also, in another episode, Skaa'ra gets possessed by a Goa'uld. The Goa'uld takes away any sense of life or self. The Goa'uld prevented Skaa'ra from ever living his life the way he would have. Getting married, having children, etc.
Sha're also gets possessed by a Goa'uld and... well... just watch the series
I just love this video! This song is just perfect for them. Great job with the editing.
The Goa'uld made an absolutely incredible group of villians, but what I think makes them so unique is that they were just as interesting as individuals. Personally, I'm really sad the system lords have been killed off. I don't think any villian, Stargate or otherwise, will ever come close to their pompous arrogance, ruthless villiany, and really cool costumes! ~Jess
He was really ruthless. I felt that he and Ba'al took the Goa'uld to a whole other level. In Abyss, Ba'al's non-chalant attitude while torturing was unnerving and very scary in its own right. Anubis had no regard for his fellow Goa'uld and demanded dominion over them. They were characters that made the Goa'uld more evil, and not pathetic.
Thanks! The Goa'uld are a very interesting race. They hate each other, yet rely on each other to keep up the myth of Gods. They cannot totally destroy each other's reputation as Gods without hurting their own prestige. Thanks for the review!
OMG, that was awesome!! I've seen the Prince of Egypt movie several times 'cause of younger siblings but I've never notived untill now all the names of gods in this song! 5/5 favorited!
The great thing is, The Prince of Egypt harbors the Ancient Egyptian Gods, and Stargate's System Lords ARE the 'Gods'... except I heard there's one called Zeus and that's Greek xD
Oh my Gosh! Great job! I love The Prince of Egypt, and SG-1 and this song really fit well! The cutting and the clips were perfect! The Goa'uld are such great villians! Well done! Five stars and a fav! ~Jess

I notice how the Goa'uld's eyes glow whenever they want to put emphasis on something. Imagine one ordering a pizza.
"I would like a pizza with mushrooms (eyes glow), tomatoes (eyes glow), and pepperoni (eyes glow)."

When will people accept that the Goa'uld are a thousand times better than the Wraith?

Guh, the Goa'uld were the best villains ever created!
And Ba'al was the best.

they take unwilling hosts, taking them against their will, plus they had unas, but choosed humans instead
daman1233 2 years ago
Yeah they do, they just cant do anything, really. Have you seen the Ep. First Ones?
Krysstinia 2 years ago
They live underwater...when they take a host their bodies atrophy rendering them unable to live outside of a host
beowulf500ad 2 years ago
They can live without a host... in their natural environment.
The Goauld Ra was dying and without the ability to get home, however.
He took his host.
But what he did with his host was evil. Pretending to be the humans god and then enslaving the race is evil.
If you watch the series, wait until you meet the Tok'ra.
The Goa'uld TAKE hosts when they don't have to. The Tok'ra ASK for hosts, they don't take someone against their will.
