Amazing ! Lydia is absolutely awesome !! I came to this video because Jean Michel Jarre was talking about her as the Jimi Hendrix of the theremin(and it seems so true) ! Plus she played the International, which is an anthem I love.

I wonder if Lydia has ever tried the Robert Fripp method of playing over what you just recorded-

Two reel to reel decks side by side ( same make good, ie. Akai) vertical.

Tape deck A -Records...Tape deck B plays back while playing over what you hear on tape deck B , Tape deck A is recording that...etc etc. If you play a loud passage then the amount of times it repeats is louder and longer as it's being re-re-re-recorded. To play a soft passage then play in unison loud intermittently is neat.

@vinedad music is not deception! Who cares how you pull it off? Look, I can play fluently on guitar and plug straight into an amp, but I also can mess around with other ways of creating textures. I remember when I was a kid people put down Jimi Hendrix for using a wah wah pedal and a fuzz pedal. I have been playing organ for the past 15 years and I have about 8 different organs. A couple are from the mid 70's and have auto rhythms etc.. These additions cannot make you play better, another lie.

Amazing. She has great control over body movement, and simply amazing artistry, as can be shown by her volume hand. This piece brings the "ether" into aetherphone.
