@mcgoo721 Very easy! I used a drill bit that you would use for making large holes. Like the ones you use for door knobs, just smaller, like 2''! Then I wired the volt guage to the 12v outlet.

@robertjdm Hi man. Do you know if the light color in the EP3 cluster can be changed? From orange to white, in the case. Do you have any idea if the orange comes from the bulbs or from some kind of film or the gauge face itself? It would help me a lot, i can't find ANYTHING about that!

@VanTheManSLB I'm not sure if it can be changed to another color. I changed mine from the U.S. spec to the European Type R Spec. I do know that the bulbs in the cluster are clear. You might be able to find a over lay film to change the color on e-Bay. Hope that somewhat helps.

@act440 Then I might not want to tell you this! I traded in my Ep3 about 2 months ago for a BMW and the dealer ship wanted me to put in the Si cluster back in. Guess what I did with the Type-R cluster? I just stuck it in the back hatch. If you'd have commented 2 months eariler, I would have gave you the guage cluster.

@ob1kanukie Thanks man! I try not to drive mine that much. I bought an old 95 suburban, I try to drive that most of the time. I have 84,000 miles on my ep. Have you had any trouble with your tranny? Mine is getting stuck in reverse! It started after I had the clutch and flywheel replaced with a 10 lb flywheel and stage 2 clutch.

Nope... I bought her with 95K and she's worked well... @118K she has a new motor and 6 speed trans. Wish I had the $ for the Kpro though. Mine just has a problem getting into reverse due to lockout and popping out of 3rd but nothing bad.

I Was not. ProFunctions did all the work and I think he used the buddy club kit & spacers to convert the 5 into a 6 for the shifter. I have a stock ep3 trans housing with 6 speed internal from the donor. Been very very happy with my ep3 just wish I had Kpro.

@mangvue824 I would agree on the slow thing! lol! Well bone stock! I've done the basic bolt-on's. Intake,race header(no cat) exhaust, tb spacer and 10 lbs flywheel and clutch. It goes ok! I'd say once in a while I'll have a miss shift into third, no grind tho. I have a vid of me doing a run 20mph to 90ish on my channel. Click on "more from robertjdm" and check them out.

@unknownally Hell, just adding kpro to this car makes it come alive! I'm having trouble with my tranny, reverse keeps getting stuck. They want $1300 to fix it. I can get a K20a2 w/ 6speed tranny for $3600. so I'm going to do that.

There's something wrong with the tranny in EP's.

That would be the best bet; to put a 6-speed in.

My reverse was a bitch to get into gear.

Tis I, lol & thanks for subscribing. I'll do the same, I used to own an Acura TL, 6speed with brembo brakes and I thought about sc'ing it, but they just went into development with a turbo for the 05 TL. I sold it to my brother to buy my evo and he may turbo it! I.e. Turbos ftw!

EP3's rule i own one... i put the revhard turbo kit...750RC injectors,,, Walbro fuel pump.. st.2 act clutch + lightweight flywheel.. 21/2in.. TBE.. Hondata K-PRO.. Full Tokico Suspension... 300WHP 250WTQ ;) FAST AND LOUD lol

Kpro is an up graded computer system to tune your car. The skunk2 throttle body will work with an intake! I'm not sure about the gas mileage tho! I do know that my car sucks on gas mileage. No cat!

Thanks again! I checked out your vids of your 09 si, very nice! I drove my friends 08 si and I love the gear box! Very smooth shifts! If you put an exhaust on your si, I highly recommend Skunk 2! There is a vid on youtube of a si like yours on the dyno before and after the Skunk 2 Megapower R 70mm install. He got like 6 hp gain w/just the exhaust.
