I like your energy really.. I was surprised when you said you can give a good impression if it's the first time you are seeing that person because that's 100% my case. I project an image of a outgoing guy but then after a couple of weeks I get quieter and quieter and anxious. So many good relationships lost but I am also working on that by trying to keep contact with people I like, not easy.. but it's going to get better with time. You have to accept the fact that they could see through you
Thank you ShyShan21! And yep, that is exactly what I do, I just gradually get quieter and quieter and more anxious and anxious til there's a problem lol. It's cool to hear from someone with a similar situation tho! Thanks for watching! :D
I thought that Professor of your's was a prick! Jeez, was it even necessary to make you feel humiliated in front of class?
But besides that, I too have felt exhausted after my exposure around people due to my intense anxiety. In fact, today I was quite exhausted and even had a slight headache. When I feel like that, I usually loaf around watching TV or surfing the internet and munching on salty or surgery snacks.
Yes! I sat in the same seat in every class. Always back row, and closest to the door if it wasn't taken. Haha. I hated to be surrounded by people. I felt safer in the back. And I too can't stand when professors have attendance policies. We're paying to be here so why should it matter whether we come or not? Plus, some people do very well by learning from a textbook on their own. But they'd get a bad grade just cause they didn't show up.
Thanks spiffyrich, I love Dave Matthews lol! And I totallly agree, it's like, my tuition is paying for YOUR salary...so what's the big f*cking deal?? If we can pass their class while not having perfect attendance, then why should we be penalized through our grade? Oh, the joys of college! ;)
