I recommend this excellent Math channel: ( Mathmatchpoint ) to everyone who wants to become good at Math. He is going to teach you everything about Math the EASY WAY, from the basic to the advanced topics. The great thing is that his videos are categorized within playlists. It is easy to know which video to watch next. This was the least I could do for him (let others know about his videos). Because of this guy I got 97% on my Math test.

Its not about the tone of the voice but about the teaching method that is used here, it's too alianating to the listener. Online lessons should be as intimate teaching as patrickJMTs online tutoring or khanacademys video lessons. They should learn from them in order to make bigger profit.

I am a manufacturer & expecting to receive parts from the vendors.

IF the first of the two orders of parts is delivered late by the vendors, I will not be able to deliver the product to the customer on time. My historical record shows all vendors have failed to deliver on time 10 percent of the time. I am using two vendors in hope that at least one of them will deliver parts on time.

What is the PROBABILITY at least one of them will deliver parts on time?

The probability of a vendor not delivering on time is .1. So the probability of both vendors not delivering on time is .1² = .01.

Which means that the probability of at least one vendor delivering parts on time is 1-.01 =.99. However, this assumes that the vendors are independent of each other, which is unlikely to be the case. 7 months later, you should now have some idea of the actual probability.
