  • He's efficient. It takes me so much longer to do this.

  • lol, the other guy looks annoyed

  • Why is everyone butt hurt about this? I think it's cool.

  • They see me shufflin'...

  • wtf is this idiot doing this isnt hot to shuffle cards....thats be an assHOLE.. thinks hes cool..

    ....i guess he lost.

why they cant shuffle the normal way....i hate it when ppl doing this ...bunch of loosers...

  • @TheAndroidMafia They're using sleeves.. they'd get ripped and stuck together

  • LOOK! every time i tap these on the table something amazing happens on the ceiling. He is pretty quick at the last part though.

  • The guy's face at 0:25 is priceless.

  • Uhh......God? Glitch?

  • lol his opponent is like" Hurry the fuck up!!!"

  • “We disqualified this player for Stalling, after it was observed that his play speed seemed to change based on his observation of the clock. It was observed by a high-level judge that twice in the round he appeared to change his play speed based on considerations that were outside the game. "

Saito is a pro magic player. he's in consideration for the HOF. Rereading cards again and again seems out of character for a guy who should know what Jace the Mindsculptor does.

  • Why stalling is worth a ban, I know some Magic Players that can be very impatient, but who cares if he stall

  • @AtarashiiBlog because there are time limits at sanctioned events. its game 3 of your round and you and your opponent are in a heated game. 10 minutes are called until the round is over, and your opponent pulls off a move that puts him ahead of you in Life totals. 4 minutes are called, and all of a sudden your opponent takes 30-45 seconds to stall by reading what cards do, thinking about whether to play a land or not. you could have won the game but now the round is over. stalling is cheating.

  • It takes him near a minute to shuffle like that!?!?

  • Holy shit that is annoying...

  • "Just fucking Cut my god damn deck already its been 15 minutes....."

  • Asshole!

  • what an idiot lol :D

  • Arnošt Žídek - Bánská university Ostrava. Czech republic :-D PS:dík za trojku z matiky :-D

  • Saito is simply using the rules to his advantage. It's not really sportmanship but in this case and others I cannot blame him. The risk and stakes are high. Some people just wish bad luck upon you without saying it.

  • @KilliaK what?

  • His opponent's expression & mannerisms were pretty amusing.

  • what game is this??

  • press 5 his jerking off

  • that oppenement look pist with all that shufflin

  • Let me read this Jace.

    How much time is left?

How many cards in your grave?

    How much time is left?

    What does Jace say again?

How many cards in your grave?

How much time is left?............... Turn 2: Land.........

How many cards are in your grave?

  • Someone's opponent is getting really pissed... Watch your back dude when the tour is over...

  • The other guy's like: "Yeah, we all know about your cool shuffilng and that you're gonna kick mi ass. Just let's get this over with"

  • and thats why he got a 1.5 year suspension

  • @Stopbanningmeazholes but why did they suspend him? i thkn thats pretty good shuffling

  • @mrploch because he would intentionally stall. anything from taking forever to shuffle from staring at his hand forever to reading an opponents cards just to kill time. he would play slow, win game 1, then stall out so that he would get a 1-0-1 win

  • @mrploch He got suspended for stalling in general. He's known for reading cards he 100% what they do when he's ahead (like frigging 5 times in 2 rounds) and all that kind of stuff. He's a dirty cheater and deserves the ban.

  • @CeterumCenseo85 how is stalling cheating?

  • @Stopbanningmeazholes for doing what? Not being a jerkoff I genuinely don't know any of the rules lol

  • His opponent must want to shoot him.

  • Put all your cards you want one of in your openting hand (sideboard cards, often) on top of the deck. Do Saito's shuffle. The top cards do not change despite 1000 shuffles. Then at the end, do the pile sorting he does. This distributes the sideboard cards evenly throughout your deck so you get one in your opening hand or draw in the first two draw steps. It's a total cheat.

  • @jeopardyjeff Wow, You commented the same thing on two videos. But doesn't that gets fixed when the opponent gets to shuffle the deck?

  • @KrankesHirn If you shuffle the heck out of it, sure. However, the point of appearing to be taking waaaaaay too long to shuffle on Saito's part means that only the suspicious will shuffle the heck out of the deck. Most players will cut to get the whole thing over with since it has already taken so long (and, wow, he has sure been shuffling a lot, so it must be randomized, the opp thinks).

  • He better have won that match.

  • shuffle knock knock knock shuffle knock knock knock shuffle knock knock knock shuffle knock knock knock

  • the technique he used before splitting the pile is called Faro Shuffle

  • mindgames

  • LOL

  • White Guy: Ok, that's enough.

Saito: *Shuffles for 40 more seconds.*

  • @TheKandkodos lmao. So win. xD

  • Pile shuffling is cheating, though...

  • @sgamer69 How so?

  • @sgamer69 Only if it's not combined with riffles/mashes/etc.

  • It's a well-understood statistical trend that seven shuffles sufficiently randomizes a 52-card deck. Any more shuffles don't really do anything.

Of course, this is a 60-card deck, but still, this guy shuffles 17 times, if I'm counting correctly. He could've stopped at 0:20 and achieved nearly the same level of randomization.

  • actually this is called "Pro Stalling".

  • Everyday i'm shufflin'...

  • @TortillaGaming Might want to stop shuffling and start playing.

  • @TortillaGaming super lol

  • @TortillaGaming Party Rock Anthem (Everyday I'm Shuffling) while watching this vid :O

  • Lol "ok.. That's enough" hahaha.

  • i would just shuffle once then cut in the middle. how hard is that? shuffling like a dick for 2 mins totally wastes the game

  • @Ashgrimm That wouldn't randomize your cards very well though, which is the entire point of shuffling. Saito didn't even spend very long shuffling his deck. He only took 49 seconds, though you are allowed 3 minutes.

  • @thekhorneflake nothing wrong with shuffling your deck to randomize it, but shuffling your opponents deck for so long (specially if he has already shuffled quite much) , thats just wrong

  • Everyday I'm shufffffling.

  • Wow it looks like Saito is having an orgasm.

  • @ColdGambler He needs to reshuffle to make sure his opponent gets a bad hand, he is trying to reverse his opponent's shuffle to make piles of bad card. The rules give u 2 minutes to reshuffle your opponent's deck, this is pro tour, the 49 seconds he used might be crucial in winning thousands of dollars. Why don't you slander couch potatoes, xbox live users, they are all wasting time, so are you when you post that comment. Practice what you preach, think before you speak.

  • When I play a yugioh with my friends we usually spend a minute or two shuffling usually creating a battle plan in my head so I find this perfectly fine.

  • what a dumb ass useless waste of time , if he plays 100 games he would have wasted 4900 seconds , or almost 82 minutes. Shit that´s retarded , no offense

  • @ColdGambler Saito actually shuffles for a shorter time period than most pro or top level players. If you've ever seen an SCG Open even event, they spend 10-15 minutes in between games one and two, half of it shuffling. The point of this vid isn't how long he shuffles, its how awesome it is.

  • @trysephiroth007 so the pros wate even more time , which is even more awful

  • @ColdGambler lol, sadly enough, yes

  • @ColdGambler I agree, just put your hand and graveyard on top of your deck after a game and draw your seven cards. Time is precious FFS !

  • I have a minor case of OCD and i find this perfectly acceptable. And if hes still within the time limit, then why the hell not?

  • Vzdyt je to Arnost Zidek :D

  • lmao i just heard the american say "thats enough" like twice. What a douche

  • @Chikokishi hes was talking to the judge to saito..

  • Every time i try that all my sleeves just go inside each other. Any tips?

  • @Chikokishi you gotta turn them horizontally whenever that happens to me my cards are always vertical. dont know how i just thought that but i did lol

  • @Chikokishi Go in from the sides not from bottom to of sleeves to top of sleeve, it looks like hes going in from the top with the shuffle here buts hes actually going in on a angle into the side at the very top with the corner. If you do this shuffle from bottom going into top you will break a ton of sleeves.

  • im speechless

  • To anyone talking about how his shuffling was stalling: You get three minutes to sideboard and shuffle. 0:49 < 3:00.

  • That's pretty much GG if its first turn.

  • That was pretty short compared to some people who pile shuffle three times...

  • and thats part of the reasons he is suspended for stalling.

  • maybe he just has OCD

  • someone's obviously anal about shuffling

  • I'd punch that douche in the face.

  • Saito was discovered to be cheating during this tournament for waiting out the clock to the effect of altering gaming strategy for he and his opponent. He was also caught shuffling his deck in this same manner without any effect in play to stipulate the action of shuffling, which analysts have pointed out could be an indicator that Saito knew his draws before they came up. Those sleeves that he's is using are usually suspect to this kind of tampering, as well as any sleeves that come in 2 packs.

  • @ThugAim yep that what he is doing is called a false shuffling what cheat

  • Honestly this is really smart, look at his opponent, he is gettng angry, thats perfect for him, if you lay with anger your not going to think plays through

  • I think it's a great thing that he takes that long to shuffle. There's nothing wrong with it at all

  • the first part of the shuffling looks pretty simple

  • obviously the white guy is constipated:/

  • yo le hubiera cortado las manos con una Katana... que cansino

  • hell yea!!

  • dont you have two minuetes to shuffle?

  • this dude has a great startegy, bore his opponent into jus quitting XD

  • this is so hot for some reason I should not be finding that hot

  • His opponent looks so irritated.

  • I want to know more about that clear blue deck box Saito's got. Japanese players always find these awesome foreign deck boxes like that one. Brandless, transparent, and compact size. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't even made for trading cards but coincidentally fit a whole sleeved deck.

If anyone knows that deck box or similar some info would be greatly appreciated. Closest I can think of is index card holders or a Max Protection horizontal translucent box.

  • Oops, my bad. Posted that before the video even ended, heh. He DID do the Saito Shuffle.

  • Dude got Saito Stalled. If it was the Saito Shuffle, that'd be one thing, but he was just cutting in for almost a solid minute, so this is definitely a case of the Saito Stall. I'm surprised he didn't stop, check his sideboard, and then go back to shuffling.

  • ten seconds later saito mulligans

  • "that's enough." at 0:10

  • mind game lol

  • Damn asians and their fancy, efficient, flashy, better-than-average skills at EVERYTHING.

  • @GreelTheMindRaker Yeah you can tell the other guy is like "LET"S JUST FUCKING PLAY ALREADY!"

  • Lol I shuffle the same way. I just hate getting mana screwed.

  • Japanese are such over achievers. And for what? To quote the flavor text of the M10 edition "Shatter":

"Days of planning. Weeks of building. Months of perfecting. 49 seconds of pissing off my opponent."

  • trolololo

  • I've shuffled for almost 2 minutes before, I'd rather take too long than get called on illegal shuffles personally

  • I got friends like that too, they spend more time shuffeling then playing, and we are amatures....

  • Lol this is a good way to confuse your opponent before a game XD.

    It's really cool :P

  • That dude spends too much time shuffling lol. That 2nd trick must have taken weeks to master.

  • saito gets down

  • That's the way it should be. i mean i hate seeing people shuffle their decks for like 10 seconds and saying that their done.

  • He's looking up so he doesn't accidentally see his bottom and middle cards while he shuffles. It's really easy to your bottom and middle cards when you're shuffling vertically, so, he does this to avoid a judge penalty.

  • he is constantly looking up.. is he praying? o_o

  • @MtgAmateur no. if opponents sees that you're looking at your deck while shuffling, could call a judge telling that you were ordering hands/draws.

  • what card game is this?

  • @mrmodernkillz its magic the gathering. didnt mean to thunbs up this but w/e

  • why does he look up so much?

  • @pheanoblack confusing his opponent :D

  • @kopstas123 i think i know why now

its so that his opponent doesnt think hes stacking while hes cutting his own deck

  • Im copying this shuffle style

  • lol he said "thats enough"

  • Sleep LOL

  • why the hell he looks up?

  • @memokk He looks up so he doesn't inadvertently see any of the cards when he shuffles

  • @memokk He is looking at Jesus for help!

  • thats some badass shuffling.

  • His deck is already presented, I think the judge asked him to shuffle more and he is asking Saito if it was ok? Hence Saito nodding "Yes".

  • i dont see anything wrong about shuffling for 49 seconds

  • @Xoxaloacetate lol....its a lot of time..dude

  • @Xoxaloacetate i will laugh after all that shuffling he lost

  • @Xoxaloacetate Yeah rules give you 3 minutes. I usually take at least 2. :D

  • @Xoxaloacetate but he wouldnt have been shuffling for 49 seconds, the other guy was sitting there waiting after he had already shuffled the deck with blue sleeves

  • yeah, if you just watch the video once, it seems like he is saying something in response to Saito shuffling. However, he's just saying something to the judge (i think its a judge).

  • it sounds like thats enough "proof "our "rules"

  • gosh he made it that far and he dosent know how important is to shuffle............i play at school for fun with my freinds and i still that time to shuffle

  • omgsoh did u hear him

  • shame to his opponent! what kind of attitude is that?

  • is he faroi-ing the cards each time>?

  • The card covers make it much easier, but therefore not as precise as a normal faro shuffle.

  • Comment removed

  • lol he keeps looking at the camera like wtf

  • He didn't say that about him shuffling. He said "That's enough rules" or something like that, in response to what the guy off-camera says to him. Any pro magic players know that people can take as long as they want to shuffle, within reason.

  • Dissapponted that he's about to get his ass kicked, no doubt. And he has to wait for it to happen. xD

  • His opponent is kinda disappointed =D

  • lol who is he playing against.. i don't think he understand how important it is to shuffle lol.. he is prolly another one of these guys with great decks, that loose cus they draw 6 lands hands in their domain zoo... SHUFFLE amg..

  • Haha. Look at his opponent.

  • @SuperShibbyDude probably getting his ass handed to him lol
