  • Rough road and too much speed equals a bad time. Been there done that. Plus, the camera makes you drive worse. Make bad decisions. I push it when a camera Is mounted. So I'm speaking for myself here

  • i would of started crying the moment i saw the bike scraping past me

  • If that other bike didn't switch lanes youd have a bike today

  • I liked how slick you walked away from that like nothing happened

  • glad you are ok and hope bike was easy to fix. I also ride like a dumbs, thats why i learned to fix my bike myself

  • never ride faster, than your guardian angel, can fly!

  • You should REALLY scout out your locations for doing stuff like this first.

  • You asked for it dude

  • lol MSF course for you buddy. Poster boy for target fixation. lawl

  • To all you goons yabbering about potholes and "ice"..

He crashed because he was riding on the gravel in the gutter, right at the edge of the road. How did he get there? He drifted wide because he has no control over his bike. He was already committed to crashing, before the crash.

It wasn't potholes, it wasn't ice, it wasn't speed... it was incompetence. Then gravel.

Watch from 0:50 onwards, at 0:55 he's coming off but at 0:54 he's already heading for the curb through not steering enough..

  • Whoo! NASCAR!

  • Potholes suck, but then again shouldnt have really attempted that overtake either! bad luck.

  • how did you manage to lose the front wheel (as in when it was sliding the front wheel is missing completely)? Also i see it was the road surface that knocked you of balance, should have seen that coming! :)

Glad your ok tho and there was no oncoming traffic.

  • Too much speed than you could handle... How about some track time to work on your skills in a much safer setting. That was completely avoidable. Next time, don't keep your eyes on the curb. Look to where you want the bike to go... And not at the curb. You earn the name "Squidward!"

  • @796Bri he hit a slipspot on the road you dumbshit. You earn the name captain clusterfuck

  • @796Bri and you earn the name "asshole"

  • Lucky

  • Yikes. Glad you're OK but gunning it and speeding equals the taste of asphalt.

  • Looks like he hit a pothole? He hit about 20 potholes and some other stuff. Go fast on a smooth road.

  • That sucks what made you crash like that? I just posted a vid of a funny crash I saw also haha.

  • holy shit your lucky!! i subbed, check out my channel im a motorcycle vlogger from australia

  • Looks like he hit a pothole just before the corner paniked and didnt lean in.

  • @87cchapman Na man. If you look closely at around :50 he hits some sort of ice on the road, which causes him to crash.

  • You can tell from the very beginning this guy doesn't know what he's doing...had he not slowed down enough he would have hit the other biker. Then he can't make a simple right turn...

There a transition speed (not all that fast) where you go from leaning and actually turning the direction you need to go (very slow speed)...to where you actually lean while turning the wheel opposite of where you need to go. Looks like he locked up the brakes at the end too...

  • He didn't seem to lean at all. He had loads to go. Counter steering, google it! Look where you want to go not at where you hope you don't end up going.

  • Hahahahahahaha lol............I watched it 100 times and still funny

  • awsome........funny

  • push the wrong bar, Should have push forward on the right bar, would have lend your bike more. would have made that corner. bummer

  • look press lean, looks like you failed at all three

  • 0:53 is the accident

  • Live and learn..give respect

  • did you stop riding after this happened?

  • Taking the wrong line on corners...what a noob...lesson learned hopefully. Dont buy it if you cant ride it

  • noone talks about speeding as a factor in this crash, if he hadn't been speeding he'd be fine!

  • @bringerofrage He didn't hit the curb for any reason that I could see. He went way too wide for no reason. This is what happens when you ride faster then your competent to ride at! If when you get a little scared, you tent to panic then stay of a motorcycle. So I agree with you.

  • that is a good ass camera! damn!

  • Steel bridge seams are slippery!

  • if you didnt have gloves on your hands would be fucked

  • Show off!

  • that was a fail

  • if you haven't been down...you aren't riding it hard enough...just sayin...i see a ton of guys who claim to ride hard...there chicken stripe looks like ribbon on each side...way to have some balls...and walk away without being injured...a little more experience...you could have pulled it through..just looks like you werent ready for the turn...

  • Glade to see you were alright. Sorry about your bike.

  • Hello boys and girls, can you say... curb?

  • why lane change in a turn like that?

  • What was that huge throttle chop?,........ u look inexperienced....plus bad road conditions, recipe for a disaster, but glad ur ok

  • holy siznit dude that was a awesome camera lol.

  • That is nice baby, you walked away.

  • Leaning on pot holes...

  • looks like he got caught up in some road debri on the edge and that steel cross beam on the bridge didnt help either. could have happen to anyone of us.

  • Drives it like he stole it.

  • Looks like he got into some road debris which could have easily taken any one of us down.

  • he don't even can drive straight one

  • Good thing he was wearing gear. But it was funny cause just like in my wreck the first thing is dammit my bike is wrecked. Then it's, do I need to go to the hospital?

  • yikes well gear ia important i can't argue there

  • not saying crashes are fun but fortunately it was a lowside crash rather than a highside one cuz those get ugly. glad your alright bro.

  • Looks like the patch of road was in bad condition and the rider lost it (probably was going a bit too fast for that kind of road condition too).

  • That looked fucking painful

  • glad your ok but i believe you need to take a motorcycle rider safety course.

  • Gotta flame you a bit. Save that type of riding when there are not cars around or hit up a track. You can go as fast as you want there without putting other drivers in danger at the expense of your good time

  • Remember kids: ATGATT. All The Gear, All The Time!

  • American roads do suck... i know ive lived there, atleast in florida

  • @Summitshow I think american roads are god like compared to other countries, atleast compared to the country I live in. Here its even freakin dangerous to drive a motorcycle cuz of a huge bump every meter.

  • Just gotta watch out for the unused road edge... even if it's paved it's usually full of gravel, which is like rolling on marbles.

  • you need to learn to lean buddy!!

    glad your ok though

  • Lesson learned: slow down!

  • Did you knew that part of road?

  • Did you know that part of road?

  • ooo. thats realy bad!!!

  • That hurt me just looking at it

  • oh wow thats crazy awsome that your ok

  • U lucky bastard lol

  • I amazed how you managed that lol.

    At least you're ok.

  • You walked away. Good for you.

  • I could only imagine the feeling when you start to lose control and see oncoming traffic

  • Looks like a 2005 GSXR 600 20th Anv. Edition?

  • @usmcMPpendleton I'm guessing it's a GSX650F

  • lucky sir glad u good though

  • that was a shit road man. wow. surface all screwed up, looks like pot holes and tons of dirt and probably road salt from winter. good to hear you're alright.

  • wow, that road got real sketch real quick, at least your ok. riders can buy new bikes, but it doesnt work the other way around.

  • Glad you are OK, good gear is priceless when you go down,

  • that patch of road is a piece of shit, thats probably what messed you up.

  • the other bike didnt stop?

  • REAL lucky man. Take it easy, not worth dieing over stupid shenanigans.

  • That wasn't luck. He fell properly. People consider things to be a miracle alllll the time.. kinda tired of it. Give us humans so fucking props man.

Good fall dude, nice way to tuck and flat. Controlled your self very well.

  • JUST WALK IT OF YOULL BE FINE

  • my god you were lucky

  • You where very lucky not to hit a oncomming car in the oposite lane bro, I hope you will be that lucky next time aswell. Drive safely!

  • just wow... Luckily you didn't get hurt, I can't imagine if there was a car on the other side!

  • At least your helmet cam didn't get damaged.... those things are fuckin expensive... lol.

  • Those knee pads saved your knees my friend. Look at my my knees on my vid. Not so lucky.

  • do not give that tape to the insurance company ;)

  • GIXXAR aye?? hmmm , novice mistake , not knowing how to countersteer on a bend under acceleration. Glad you're ok , brave of you to post this on youtube. Just calm it down when riding with your mate, im not going to flame you but it's close bud.

  • That camera had some nice quality! I'm just glad you didn't get majorly hurt!

  • Really nice quality video. What camera? Glad you weren't hurt! 80mph can take a bunch of hide off! I've bled pretty good from some 10mph offs. (baby head rocks HURT!)

  • Glad you were ok and it's nice to see that people stopped to help you out.

  • I'm going to the dealership to pick out my first bike tomorrow and videos like this scare the shit out of me. Glad you're okay man.

  • I wonder if you could sue/get reimbursed by the city for poor road conditions? It won't help that you were speeding, but you did somewhat lose control due to road conditions.

I had a friend who's dad fell on his bicycle riding around town, the city gave him a settlement since he claimed it was due to cracked pavement or something like that

  • Ouch..... I know how it feels :)

Thats why don`t go stuppid on uknown road

    Anyways - Police came?

  • That some really bad roads conditions.

  • what happened here, it happened too quick for me to see what happened to bring it down?

  • @rsiks At about 54 seconds you can see a patch going all the way across the road thats what he hit.

  • @rsiks looks like he just couldnt handle that corner at that speed. I don;t think anything really "happened".

  • The road condition didn't help the situation, but rider inexperience was obvious. Target fixation with minial lean angle.

  • @RideHard85 Wow..

  • @RideHard85 WELL PUT! at least homie is okay tho.

  • For you it's a good thing you were able to walk away without a scratch. I just don't hope people now think wearing full leathers isn't necessary.

  • @Taekwondokah He didn't have on leathers, but was wearing pretty good gear. He had on a helmet, gloves, jacket, knee pads and riding boots.

  • @bethj830

Ah ok, that's pretty good indeed, I was just expecting more wounds with jeans on...

  • Watching this video reminds me how easy it is to let the adrenaline get the better of you.

  • Not a scratch huh? I'll bet your bike thinks different........

  • @triumphvinnie My bike is just happy i'm ok

  • @bethj830

I think your bike looks like scrap metal.

  • @J801506 Yes, unfortunately. Insurance and DMV statistics are the sources. I was originally told that by a Suzuki dealer and thought he was kidding until I did a little homework. Between theft and accident rates they hit the bottom and are why no insurance company wants to go near them. They KNOW they will pay on them. That's why a years insurance is the same as the bike costs.

  • This is a prime example of why only 2.5 out of every 10 GSX-R's sold in a given year are still on the road at the end of the year...

  • @Adventuremyk1 Curious as to the source of this statistic. I'd love to share it with my friends as long as I know it's from a reliable source.

  • for the love of god, take a MSF course before you become a statistic.

  • So was it; A. Loves Nascar so much he refuses to turn right? B. Thought you had bought an Enduro? or C. Bet your buddy you could crash your Suzuki and both your wheels would still be there when you got up?

  • @kawasicky I don't think he knew about the horrible way they patched the road there. You can see the patched spot he goes over just before he wrecks.

  • @bethj830

Very true, that's one of the scariest things a rider can come across, even though we don't think much about it. But the road was garbage to be doing that speed.

  • @bethj830

Very true, that's one of the scariest things a rider can come across, even though we don't think much about it. But the road was garbage to be doing that speed. Glad no oncoming traffic clipped him.

  • Those were some major SQUID moves riding that way on the street. Look like you were riding a squidzuki too.

  • @Akho21570 What you've never gone over the speed limit before?

  • @bethj830 This sort of riding should better be done on the track. At least there you have no trucks, bus stops, kids crossing, and so on. And you certainly have better adherence, meaning you can enjoy leaning further down without skidding. Try it, I'm sure you'll love it!
