The only thing that you might want to work on from a design perspective are the hinges.

They look a bit ugly. The rest is wonderfully presented. Still, I think that the Asus Transformer makes for a better netbook with actual keys. Also, the gimmick of having visible turning pages will wear off in a very short time.

NoteSlate esetleg nem ismerős? Egy cseh diákokból álló társaság terve, hogy egy e-book readert csináljanak A4 méretben, letisztult formákkal, kezelőfelülettel, nyílt forrású szoftverrel és hardverrel. Milyen jó lenne, ha egy hasonló termék elkészülne Magyarországon (is). Vagy talán itt legelőször.

@otokoyama1234 Hi, thanks for your comment. This video was a university project and the idea was to make a video in Apple's style. I agree it is similar to an iPad, but I made the video a year before the iPad came out and started working on the project 2 years before it.

Nagyon tetszik az otlet. Szerintem megerne elkuldeni az Apple-nek vagy mas nagyobb ien elektronikai cegnek az otletet, mert szerintem nekik is teteszene, s szerintem annyira nem lehet bonyolult megvalositani. Es tenyleg nagyon-nagyon jo otlet. A jegyzetek irasa a konyvbe szerintem egy nagyon hasznos dolog lenne, ami hianyzik a jelenlegi e-book readerekbol.

I think the double screen isn't going to make it because it just immitates a dying form of information consumption: the paper book. When there is no need for cutbacks in paper (you would need double amound of paper if the pages had text only on one side) the traditional book style reader has no meaning.

Wow! I would buy the hell out of something like that. I currently have a Sony eReader and am looking around for something new since the Sony software has stopped working for no reason. Too bad this isn't real because it already is much better than the Kindle and the Nook. Great job on this. I wish I could actually get one.

Thanks, Apple had the same style for the new unibody MacBook ad and I tried to follow it in my presentation. It is hard to make a complicated ad as this on your own though, so obviously it is far behind the real commercial quality.

Looks nice, but dont think that an eReader that dont use eInk will catch on as a reading device. But it could be good as a note-taking/organizer divice, much like the microsoft courier that is coming shortly. However, if the could dothis device with eInk on a non-glare touchscreen, then it would have huge potential.

Thanks a lot for your comment! I don't think that eInk is the only solution for reading devices in the future. I hope OLED screens (or some new technology) will change the way we think of displays soon.
