No. UnlockIng make it able to use your iPhone on other cariiers like t mobile.

@ bankai991: this is caused by blackra1n. It happens to mostly all iphones. To fix it, you need to add this source to Cydia: ht tp://cydia.iphoneil net. After that, go into that source and look for "Push Fix", install that, then open YouTube and it should work.

hey what do u mean by restoring it to the latest firmware?? do i have to restore it even though it is already updated to 3.1.2? oh and when i use cydia and winterboard, it doesnt change a thing. help

can anyone tell me why after i do all this intall cydia and try to install WINTERBOARD, it freezes my iphone to the apple logo? i had to do a hard systems restore twice..seems WINTERBOARD is the problem. how can i conbat this? thank ~Vic

ive had this happen to, u just have to wait like 10 minutes and it will be back up, i almost gave up too, but it will come back to the locksceen you just have to be patient!
