Right, ambient didn't start from industrial, BUT dark ambient was spawned from industrial and noise not from ambient. In fact the early incarnations of dark ambient were actually known as "ambient industrial". I think one could argue semantics on this one.
This ia awesome, I am a big fan of Dark ambient, it's a pitty it wasn't more popular and known. in favorites, I like the Doomy sound quality of this one, sad too, very 'Silent Hill' like

It's known as dark ambient, a sub-genre of industrial. Most of it is readily available on Amazon. Also check out Raison d'Etre.
