the big issue with choppers in this game is the fact that people who are good on them use them constantly and hog them so you don't get much chance to practice, they will even team kill you if they see you going for them, I was in a game with a dude with number 1 skill level and he was in a chopper the entire game, he racked up like 2000 points though

flying this using a ps3 controller is quite hard. I just need advise on the "Flying down really low and shoot at maybe a tank? and get back up safely. =) I did that once, but after i get back up i got shot down by AA guns. = =

@skyranger11 first thing you wanna do when at the enemys base is use the chopper to take out the AA guns, or before you get into the chopper use the artilary to take out the AA, or if you are squading up with friends have one of them maning the artilry taking out the AA for you!

you are set for tons of play time when you get the heli in that desert map - you know, with the ships in the sand. It's almost impossible for someone to bring the chopper down - espically if they're maneuvering fast. The AA guns on the far ends of the map are useless. Should be some AA guns in the central parts. The heat-seeking portable RPG is useless against a fast moving helicopter, too mostly because an alarm sounds in the chopper when a heat-seeking missile is coming at you.

in the Ps3 ver to climb you have to press R1 and to descend its R2, to move forward you just tilt left stick forward

@IR2PRO4U lol. I've gotten the epic fail message a few time. It's pretty funny. Hope noone else was in your chopper with you! Once I drove a 4x4 into a tree at a really high rate of speed - usually they can handle it just with some damage- but for some reason it killed me, lol.

forward flight is completely wrong because if you truely master the flight control then you can get just the right angle to go forward not down. i will hopefully be doing a tutorial on this too.

The only difference is that it's not symmetrical and the direction buttons are located to the right not the left of the joystick. Microsoft ripped of the GUI from Macs and they're controllers from Sony. When I think of Microsoft I think cheap and generic.

@DavidSF92 yeah you might notice the multyplayer copters are harder to fly then the russian one in the singleplayer. the singleplayer copter can move horizontal without having to change the pitch or yaw.

I totally agree lazydog, i looked for a while seeing if you could have private matches as in COD 4, but then i gave up and realised they dont have it :( but im still a convert to BFBC from COD4 which use to be my favourite but i think i heard their might be a private match option too in #2 with the ability to make up your own weapon selections. The best bit ill love is making the buildings collapse. November isnt coming fast enough. cheers

The easiest way to get the wild card is to take out the opposing helicopter just after someone enters it and tries to take-off. Kind of cheap though, I always enjoy a fair fight.

Practice. As you keep the aimer on your target, the nose will pitch down more towards the ground and you will have to pull up more.
