George W. Bush cut taxes seriously (right thing IMO), looking forward to reduced spending. THEN 9/11 happened and he decided to go into stupid, useless extremely expensive wars and used his super-majority and whips to push for unpaid-for Federal power and spending increases to pander to Dems (much like Obama in his first 2 years).
But Obama has undone little to none of Bush's actions, AND he's spent more, so he's just as guilty as Bush in my view.
If you area TRUE American and love your freedom and liberty, want peace around the world, you will vote for Ron Paul and stop listening to the MSM whores!

that's why i'm gonna vote for ron paul, paul maybe crazy on certain issues but i think he's better than the cast of bought and sold clowns we have now...
@hellshade2 That's now why they are running these clowns. The republican party was in power under Bush, all 8 yrs. Bush and his congress brought us to this place in history. Committed crimes to do it and are not being held accountable because of the crisis they caused. They don't want the spot light on them to fix the problems they created...thus the clowns. For some reason they find it much more fun to sit back and create more havoc on the state level.
Not to be paranoid but do you think the presenter used the word "ARREST" (which sounded a little odd in context) & similar language i've noticed in MS media to socially desensitize viewers to the idea of police and other law enforcement using abnormal amounts of force to crackdown on us or what ever.
Considering control is slipping for big government, the SOPA & NDAA bills were passed. There are HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS protesting in the streets and Ron Paul has created a large following.
Democrats should consider voting in the republican primaries for Ron Paul, based upon the national discussion it could create for the notion of international Peace and corporatism.
Even if they don't vote for him in the general election.
Do you Really want Newt or Romney to run any risk of being president? Really?
A nomination for Ron Paul to be GOP nominee at least keeps the possiblity of a warmonger out of the equation.
GJ keeps saying he and Ron Paul have the same message, GJ needs to DROP the FRAUD TAX and embrace Dr.P's policy of End the Income TAX and replace it with NOTHING, not a regressive FEDERAL sales TAX!
@TinyMcLarge I'm not getting into a debate over Ron Paul. You how ever are still missing the point. You voting for Ron Paul is all fine and good. It wont mean anything even if he wins. It will be more of the same if Obama wins, Ron Paul wins or any of the Republican whacks win. It's a fantasy, your vote is meaningless. You voice is meaningless. Your ideas, beliefs and political views are meaningless ! Unless you can buy a few dozen politicians, you, me and every one else are nothing
@tr2899 That's what they told the fools that voted for Andrew Jackson. But the fools won, and then he won again on the slogan... "Jackson and No Bank".
@TinyMcLarge Ron Paul has plenty of lobbyists and corporate donations. They are not the typical mega / multinational corporations that most politicians pander to. Let's say you are right and he isn't corrupted by the money. The 435 in the house and 100 in the senate are.
The point I'm trying to make is that Ron Paul is nothing more then a broken politician in a broken system. Until we fix the system no politician, broken or not, can ever effect any real change.
I think the neocons and religious wackos are going to cockblock Ron Paul and nominate Romney, but I'm hopeful that Gary Johnson gets on the ballot and at least bring some major issues to the debates. If not, we'll be stuck with two establishment shills quibbling over the "protection" of marriage and hear nothing about the really important topics.
the #1 reason the MSM hates Ron Paul is b/c they know that those who support Ron Paul distrust and take no part in the MSM.
If Ron Paul were to be President, then FOX, CNN and MSNBC would have to shut down do to loss of ratings. 24-hr news channels, and yet they hardly ever cover real news.
@TinyMcLarge He can but will he ? And at what cost ?
Sure ending the war will make the masses "happy" but the defense contractors with deep pocket will be very "unhappy". If they are unhappy they don't donate to campaigns... And that's a big problem for politicians !!! Bigger then any insignificant issue you or the American people may have.
I guess in the end it was the best choice for Gary to leave the party. I figured he would go from little attention to no attention by joining a third party, but apparently the media haven't noticed he left the GOP.
The Party that you backed controls two-thirds of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and still they can’t keep their promise to you, ’cause you’re a chump. Anytime you throw your weight behind a political party that controls two-thirds of the government, and that Party can’t keep the promise that it made to you during election time, and you’re dumb enough to walk around continuing to identify yourself with that Party, you’re not only a chump, but you’re a traitor to your race.
if Dr Paul decides to run with the Libertarians, he will have to do so before May. because the Libertarian party convention is that month, when they will be voting on the nominee.
Dr Paul four years ago didnt suspend his campaign until about June 10th, and chances are he will go much longer this time, so the Libertarian party is not an option this year unless he drops out basically immediately which i dont see happening.
@AveragePope NO, fuck THEM! The movement is getting stronger each year and WILL prevail, hang around to see it and be part of it. I personally prefer Gary Johnson but Ron Paul will do if he wins the republican nomination. Because he is unlikely to, GO GARY, GO GARY, GO GARY!
@LordOrlock Paul is just another broken politician in a broken system. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say Paul would be good for the country... DO you really think he alone can do anything ?
Our government is bought and paid for. It's going to take a lot more then Ron Paul to fix this country.
@tr2899 I do not agree that Paul is a broken politician, but yes, we do have a broken system...your concern is realistic, and I know how deflating it is...but think of this: Ron Paul haslong been successful in crossing the isle and working with independents and democrats...his message, when it's not ignored, is stirring and gathering support by the masses exponentially...a LIBERTARIAN can get the support of both liberals and conservatives...If we get him in, he can make it work.
@JennJenification As a progressive, Paul's message is disturbing. But i won't go there.
The point is, Paul can not change anything. As much as he may want to, he can't. We don't live in a democracy or republic and haven't for a long time, maybe not ever. We live in an oligarchy where the elite own and control our government. Until people realize this nothing will ever change.
@tr2899 I completely agree, it's totally an oligarchy and it's disgusting....and Ron Paul is one of the only runners, (if not THE ONLY ONE) who speaks strongly about that to raise people's awareness and fight back. Yeah, shit's looking pretty bad, but what do you propose we do? Just sit down and wait for S.W.A.T. to come for us for being 'subversives'? C'mon, man..whatever side you're on, if you're for this country, you can't stop hoping and fighting.
@JennJenification If i knew the answer to that question i probably wouldn't be sitting here watching the Packer lose, yay ! and making comments on YouTube. I would say look into the OWS movement but I'm fairly certain that has been corrupted and is slowly turning into a vote for Obama movement. They sat around banging on drums and smoking to much pot and lost sight of what it was originally about.
Anyway, i know this is grim but i don't think there is anything that can be done
@JennJenification Just wanted to add to my last comment... I know what to do, i just don't think people are capable of doing it. The solution to Americas main problem is a simple fix. Sadly Americans, for the most part, are just not competent enough to address the giant elephant in the room.
@LordOrlock Paul or bust, indeed. If Paul loses the primary, WRITE HIM IN! You could say it's a wasted vote, but I say it's a statement...especially if you don't like Romney or Obama. It would be unrepresented, but I think, technically, write-ins CAN win....and after all the system manipulation, what the hell? Who knows, if enough people INSIST, and reject the offered candidates on their principles, maybe we'll be heard on some level.
Gary and Ron have been on the same wavelenght for a while, but still differ in that Ron is more conservative religiously, I do hope that Garys supporters join up with Ron after the GOP.
Gary isn't getting any media attention because he is a legitimate politician, and not in it for the money offered by the big companies, unlike all other candidates, save Ron. Eventually people will wake up and realise freedom can't be gained by republicans and democrats, you need libertarians for that.
Leave Gary alone, he's a good guy and has just as much a right to run as anyone. If for whatever reason Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination and doesn't run 3rd party, I'll gladly vote for Gary Johnson.
It's funny so many Paul supporters being dismissive of Gary Johnson. Especially when nothing seems to upset you more than when someone is dismissive of Ron Paul.
Gary is pro ron paul. if it came down to it and paul wanted the libertarian position, gary would give it to him. everyone needs to stop hating on gary.
Gary Johnson is an idiot. Lol, he's gonna make a difference? Back Ron Paul if you want some respect Gary. I hope Ron Paul keeps moving up in the polls despite the media bias!
@iCitiz3nP0vv3R2 you assume too much.. i am a supporter of Johnson & Paul but I have to say he looks a bit fried here.. apparently commenting on something that rubs you the wrong way makes one a 'typical american'.. you're the one who needs to grow up.
The GOP will screw Paul out of the nomination. But we have to keep this message alive, so voting Johnson will ensure he gets into those debates and we keep the flame going.
sly like a fox, THE PLAN is becoming obvious, Ron Paul takes "the cause" as far as he can...PERHAPS WINNING THE NOMINATION. "IF" he fails.....he endorses Gary Johnson.
This will keep the message alive, as Gary would than poll high enough to gain the stage verses Romney and Obama. the sad part of this is, without a surge soon by Paul, Obama wins another term.
Please remember, Obama and Romney are both the same,"establishment, owned by the Elite"......
@WAspokanebackpacker lol learn to type coherently before you try to give anyone linguistics lessons ;)
Ron Paul is a relic, he won't get the Republican nomination (especially not in Florida or South Carolina)... He's almost as big of a joke, as this strange cult following he's gathered around his idealistic and inefficient ideas.
Ron Paul belongs on a beach in Florida RETIRED, not governing the most powerful nation on earth.
80 year old men shouldn't even drive, let alone run for president
Well, if Paul loses, than I'll cast my vote for Johnson because it's as easy as driving down the street. I will do so with the understanding that placing a crown on one man, no matter who it is, will do nothing more than indicate some things.
@ReignbowSmite Actually Ron Paul is fiscally conservative. Fiscal liberal would mean he's in favor of social and welfare programs (which he's not).
Ron Paul and Gary Johnson differ on the socially liberal issues, because Gary Johnsons wants the war on drugs finished on a federal level (as well as gay rights), and Ron Paul wants the states to decide individually on what policies to enforce on these issues.
@skinnywhop87 He supports a free market. That's fiscally anarchist. He wants to dissolve equal rights protections at the federal level and put it to popular vote. I think it's Orwellian O_o
He's a statist, and his earmarks show he's not fiscally conservative.
@iCitiz3nP0vv3R2 lol does 1988 not ring a bell to you Paulites, Ron Paul has no chance, even as a 3rd party.
Plus, Johnson, unlike Paul has a proven record of executive experience. The only experience Ron Paul has is NOT voting in the senate and congress, and making idealistic speeches.
Well, ok then continue with these childish attacks, I know I don't want to waste my time talking with you any further. Comeback when you grow up and start acting your age.
@iCitiz3nP0vv3R2 I believe you're the one who's acting childish. You can't handle a few bad words? Well get offline then softie. Put up or shut up,i don't have time for thin-skinned weak argument Paulites like yourself either.
@infowaredm his two faces on homosexual rights. His calling out the government on spending while representing Galveston, TX in his district (who's received some of the most FEMA aid in US history). Ron Paul claims to be against the war on drugs, while still supporting states rights to enforce it on a local level. He had a chance to audit fort knox back in the 90's and he didn't do shit, yet he still preaches it needs to be done. He claims to be a man of logic, while denying evolution
@skinnywhop87 so you say Ron Paul is 2 faced on homosexual rights. well from what I heard from Ron Pauls mouth him self is, "Im not for the rights for groups, Im for the rights for EVERYONE!".
that disproves your first one to dislike ron paul.
About the district stuff I don't know about that, but I do know hes been re eletected each time for and by the people of that district. Find it merely impossible for 1 congressmen to audit the secrets at fort knox.
@infowaredm Ron Paul doesn't believe in the constitution. Just check his stance on the separation of Church and State (which is part of the FIRST amendment)
Also check his stance on the 14th amendment. Ron Paul respects the constitution in the same way I support the holiday Ramadan... Not at all
@skinnywhop87 I could careless about abortion laws, I can careless about church and state..
Ron Paul will end the wars, bring all home from all countrys, End the war on drugs, eliminate the federal reserve banking system. thats what i care about,
all you talk about are divide and conquer issues, and not the real ones that matter.
ALL NEOCON GOP & OBAMA ARE THE SAME. They Love Wars & Permanent Detentions, They Love Burning US Constitution, They Love NDAA, SOPA, Patriot Act, FISA & Spying on Americans, They Love Torture, Killing families w/ Drones, Guantanamo & Drug War, They Love Corporate Bailouts & Subsidies, They Love Giving TRILLIONS to Pentagon & War Industry, They Love Zionists, AIPAC & sending Israel TRILLIONS, They Love Fed Reserve and WONT Audit it, They Love Fascism & they ALL take Bribes
Gary Johnson LOVES Democracy Spreading, Humanitarian Wars, War on Terror, and American Intervention. Johnson is also FULLY Owned by Israel. Johnson IS NOT a Libertarian, and he DOES NOT put America First. Johnson ALSO Loves Privatizing Everything, including ALL PRISONS. He wants TO GROW the Pentagon but Privatize EVERYTHING else
Calling Obama a Neocon liar is like calling water wet, yet unfortunately few are willing to just come out and say it in the presence of the corporate media. Kudos to Johnson for that, but I'm still voting for Ron Paul.
Johnson favors waging "Humanitarian Wars" & Democracy Spreading.
Johnson is against Foreign Aid, BUT Johnson wants to keep giving more than 3 BILLION dollars to Israel EVERY YEAR FOR FREE. Johnson said "maintaining our military alliance with Israel is key". Johnson's a Fan of "War on Terror" & our "alliance with Israel & AIPAC"
Johnson supports FULL PRIVATIZATION of EVERYTHING IN USA (Including Prisons, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security).
Johnson has VETOED every spending bill and every new programs that he could find (Healthcare for children, School Breakfast/Lunch programs, Assistance for the Disabled & Elderly).
Johnson LOVES Israel and wants to keep giving Israel THREE BILLION every month (Johnson wants US Army & IDF together).
Gary Johnson ALSO supports the "War on Terror" and "Humanitarian" Wars and Interventionism and he is a PUPPET of Israel (Johnson will follow Israel into Iran and train Israeli Army)
@halcyon0830 Gary Johnson has never called for a war with Iran, and FYI, when the vote for the war in Iraq was casted,, ZERO senators voted against it, and only one congress WOMEN actually was against the war. Where was Ron Paul
Oh yeah, that's right.. He was voting IN FAVOR of the initial actions in Afghanistan ;)
BTW, Ron Paul is in favor of private prisons too... In fact he goes one step further, and thinks SCHOOLS should be ran the same way
Gary Johnson suddenly got annoying. Dude, you really need to just support Paul and leave the way clear for him to run Libertarian if he looses the GOP nomination. This is not your year, sir.
@JennJenification Ron Paul couldn't get on the Libertarian ticket in most states because of sore loser laws. So, yes Gary should keep running. Plus he's not 200 years old. Plus he's not a fundamentalist Christian. Plus he actually has executive experience. Plus a Libertarian presidential candidate will never get elected anyway, so quit your whining and stop saying "sir" like you're Keith Olbermann or some shit.
@imarocksinger Funny, Ron Paul's not 200 years old either....Paul's a christian, yes, but he doesn't dictate his personal morals to the rest of the country (unless they are constitutionally perscribed)....and I said sir in genuine respect for Mr. Johnson, so fuck you. : )
@JennJenification you should check Paul's legislative history on the Congressional website. He constantly and consistently has tried to legislate morality.
@JennJenification Ron Paul said he has no intentions of running as a 3rd party candidate. Gary Johnson already has the nomination for the Libertarian party.
Let Ron Paul stay and lose to Romney, it just shows you Paulites are idiots.
@skinnywhop87 Really?? Do you think if Paul would run 3rd party that he'd acctually SAY so while he's still running for the 2 party nomination? God, I hope you don't play poker.
@JennJenification I was annoyed with him at first when he decided to run as the Libertarian candidate, but I see his strategy now. He's endorsing Ron openly here, but if Ron doesn't get the momentum he needs to win the GOP nomination, Gary can be a 3rd party candidate on a national debate like Ross Perot and challenge the main debate with libertarian Ideas. As long as he continues to endorse Ron openly, I'm for him being the Libertarian nominee. I think it's a good strategy actually.
@JennJenification Dude, you sound like a partisan robot. You need to support the message, not the man.
...and on the message Gary Johnson is in some ways superior to Ron Paul (abortion). Then there's the simple math that if Paul can't get enough support within the republican party to win their nomination, under what conditions will he suddenly get enough to win against both the democratic & republican machines?
Paul made his choice, Johnson made his. Deal with it, logically.
If Ron Paul doesn't win the primaries I'm voting Gary Johnson. Hell, I like Johnson better but I voted Paul because I think he has a better chance of winning.

Not true. Johnson doesn't fully understand what the FED is or what it does. He doesn't want to get rid of it and thinks it can be "fixed".

It will be more of the same if Obama wins, Ron Paul wins or any of the Republican whacks win. It's a fantasy, your vote is meaningless. You voice is meaningless.

I think the neocons and religious wackos are going to cockblock Ron Paul and nominate Romney, but I'm hopeful that Gary Johnson gets on the ballot and at least bring some major issues to the debates. if Dr Paul decides to run with the Libertarians, he will have to do so before May. because the Libertarian party convention is that month, when they will be voting on the nominee.
Dr Paul four years ago didnt suspend his campaign until about June 10th, and chances are he will go much longer this time, so the Libertarian party is not an option this year unless he drops out basically immediately which i dont see happening.

Our government is bought and paid for. It's going to take a lot more then Ron Paul to fix this country.
tr2899 1 month ago
@tr2899 I do not agree that Paul is a broken politician, but yes, we do have a broken system...your concern is realistic, and I know how deflating it is...but think of this: Ron Paul haslong been successful in crossing the isle and working with independents and democrats...his message, when it's not ignored, is stirring and gathering support by the masses exponentially...a LIBERTARIAN can get the support of both liberals and conservatives...If we get him in, he can make it work.
JennJenification 1 month ago
@JennJenification As a progressive, Paul's message is disturbing. But i won't go there.
The point is, Paul can not change anything. As much as he may want to, he can't. We don't live in a democracy or republic and haven't for a long time, maybe not ever. We live in an oligarchy where the elite own and control our government. Until people realize this nothing will ever change.
tr2899 1 month ago
@tr2899 I completely agree, it's totally an oligarchy and it's disgusting....and Ron Paul is one of the only runners, (if not THE ONLY ONE) who speaks strongly about that to raise people's awareness and fight back. Yeah, shit's looking pretty bad, but what do you propose we do? Just sit down and wait for S.W.A.T. to come for us for being 'subversives'? C'mon, man..whatever side you're on, if you're for this country, you can't stop hoping and fighting.

Anyway, i know this is grim but i don't think there is anything that can be done
tr2899 1 month ago
@JennJenification Just wanted to add to my last comment... I know what to do, i just don't think people are capable of doing it. The solution to Americas main problem is a simple fix. Sadly Americans, for the most part, are just not competent enough to address the giant elephant in the room.
tr2899 1 month ago
